Master bedroom, 20x30 with hardwood floor, king bed, ensuite bathroom with 2 sinks and an extra-large shower, WIC, Smart TV, and french doors overlooking the lake.

Jack and Jill bedrooms, 15x15 with hardwood floors, and each room has a queen bed, dresser, 2 nightstands, WIC, Smart TV. Each bedroom has a private dressing area with a sink and mirror. The Jack and Jill bedrooms share a full tub/ shower and toilet.

Game room bedroom, 15 x 12, tile floor, has a full bed, dresser, kid's twin bunks (75-
pound weight limit for each bunk) and full bathroom w shower.

DOWN STAIRS GAME ROOM:
25 x 35, tile floor, has a full-size pool table, 70 in Smart TV w XBOX: bring your own games, DVDs and your sign-in codes to the Smart TV channels . The game room is also a PICNIC area, with a refrig/freezer, an extra ice freezer and cabinets. Walk outside to the grill (full tank) and 2 extra-large picnic tables, with plenty of shade from the Live Oak Trees, Crepe Myrtles and Palms.

Upstairs dining seats 6, with a kitchen bar that seats 4, and overlooks the backyard and lake.
Downstairs dining seats 6 with 2 sofas and 2 large picnic tables outside.

Lots of refrigerators and freezers and a large walk-in pantry...great for a one-stop shopping trip.

Family neighborhood w paved roads and shade trees, great for walking and biking.
5 miles of walking along the lake’s dike.
Bring your own bikes and use our covered wagon for toddlers.

Bring your own jet ski for all day fun riding, skiing and inner tubing.
Fish from the dock for catfish (often, 10-30 lbs).
Bring your own rod and reels and bait.
At the dock, dusk to dawn, cast off about 50-100 ft, for large catfish (10-30+ lb).
During the day, use the kayaks or canoe to "paddle fish."

Small, lightweight "fishing boats" are allowed: 12 ft L x 5 ft W.

Lakeside living

Really enjoyed our stay in this large, lakeside home. The host had done everything to make our stay enjoyable. The house is well-equipped and has everything you'd need except food!

Fantastic sunsets

We have family in the area and this house was large enough for them to be able to spend a night or two with us. It was great that they didn’t have to go back home every night. The kids loved being able to swim and fish. I love that the owner left a little surprise for us, it made it feel that much more special. Loved watching the sunsets every night.

Family Christmas Road Trip

This property was perfect! My family and my sisters family stayed here together and had plenty of room. It is clean. It’s open and the views are amazing! Kitchen was stocked with everything and we made dinner every night there. It’s December and colder so we didn’t get to do the lake things but we all decided we WILL be back! Bethany is the sweetest and responds quickly. I would 10/10 recommend her property!

Best vacation

Our family loved staying here. The kitchen is well equipped, there are many games already there (our son learned to play poker this vacation), the lake is beautiful and we caught some really big catfish from the pier. We are hoping to come back soon.

Family vacation

Having the beach in the lake right in the backyard was great for our family. Super easy communication with the owner also. Overall we made lots of memories at the house.

Welcome to our second home. Our family has been enjoying this lake house for 50 years. During the summers, we lived in the water: swimming, waterskiing and fishing! Beautiful sunsets, lots of grilling and even sleeping on the beach!
Our parents planted the Live Oaks, Palm Trees, and Crepe Myrtle and they chose St Augustine grass for it's thick, soft texture.

Why they chose this property

35 miles from Historic Charleston and 2 hours from Myrtle Beach. Moncks Corner is a thriving, growing town with Supercenter Wal Mart (5 miles), lots of churches, grocery stores, restaurants, banks, drug stores, urgent ER care/hospital, police and fire stations.

Bring your rod 'n reel and cast out off about 100 ft from the dock for dusk to dawn
catfishing.

Want to golf? About 10 miles away from the lake house is Berkeley Country Club, Exteter Plantation Road, Moncks Corner, for public golf, open 7 days a week. 843. 761. 4653

Lake Moultrie is a man-made lake!! Built in 1940 by Santee Cooper.
This "lower lake " is 60,000 acres.
It has a natural sandy bottom and a LOT of freshwater mussels!
(We like to wear water shoes)
Lake Moultrie is best known for being a recreational lake... lots of boating, fishing and swimming !
Pinopolis Lock is a fun boating "day trip" , 843.899.5625. It connects to the Tailrace canal, that leads into the Intercoastal Waterway.
Another boating "day trip" is the Diversion Canal, connecting Lake Moutrie (lower lake) to Lake Marion (upper lake).

*Winter: water level is often lowered by Santee Cooper.

What makes this property unique

A wonderful family vacation home. Lots of TLC here ! Walk outside right onto your own private beach. When the water is calm and the sun is high, you can see to the bottom. The beach starts with an easy, shallow slope and the water gradually deepens to 2-5 ft deep at the end of a 60 ft dock . Pretty sandy beach with a private jet ski ramp. Swim all day! Beautiful sunsets. Two large shady Live Oaks and lots of Crepe Myrtles in the back yard.
The neighborhood offers a 5 mile trail along the lake's dike, with lakeside views, but, there is NO SHADE; so, early morning or late afternoon is the best walking/biking time, especially during the summer!
Bring your own bikes and walking shoes, and enjoy this family friendly , quiet neighborhood with paved roads and shade trees; it's a nice mixture of retired couples and young families.
