About this property

Located in the small fishing village of Grand Case, St. Martin along a beautiful stretch of white sandy beach. Perfect for long romantic walks, either in the morning to pick up a fresh baguette or in the evening to watch the sunset. In our cozy apartment which is located directly on the beach you can enjoy the beautiful views of the Caribbean Sea from your own balcony.We have the best beach in front of our apt in Grand Case .It is a wide beach compared to other sections in Grand Case where there is no area for chairs and many rocks.Our beach is perfectfor lounging and swimming! We are one few places that have direct private beach access right from our building.

Just outside your door enjoy walking up the quiet street to a choice of over 30 gourmet restaurants including French, Creole, Italian and Fresh Seafood. There are many French boutiques to shop in or you may choose to have a cocktail at one of the beach bars along the sea. It is only a short drive to Orient Beach, which is considered the French Riviera of the Caribbean! It offers many water sports and restaurants with French and American cuisine directly on the beach.

The town of Marigot is also a short drive and is great for shopping-there is an open air market offering fresh caught fish, fresh local produce or shop for souveniers. Should you enjoy the games of chance, there are Casinos on the Dutch side of the island in Maho.

*We have recently painted the entire aptartment in soft carribean colors and there is a beautiful new Teak dining set and love seat on the Balcony .There is also a new Bamboo Bedroom set which is shown in the photos.There are egyptian cotton colorful beach towels provided as well as plush bath towels .There is a full kitchen set up for all your cooking needs.We have a complete set up of pots and pans, chef knives,large cutting boards microwave blender full size refrigerator and full set of glassware including wine,champagne,snifters,martini glasses and a martini shaker. There are other rentals that may be cheaper in Grand Case but none with the locations and ammenities that we offer. We offer ammenities than most rentals do not and know you will thouroughly enjoy your vacation in our caribbean home!!Please check our previous guest comments on this website

Very comfortable apartment right on the beach

Lovely place to relax and access the beach through the building. Great swimming in the mostly calm sea. Sitting at very nice table on the terrace to eat and enjoy an evening's imbibing was a highlight of our whole trip. Lots of people and kid action on the beach (on both sides of the building are places providing drinks & food in lounge chairs under umbrellas) kept us entertained. Good kitchen with full equipment for cooking. Comfortable couch to relax on. Nice to have bath + 1/2. Comfy sleeping. Potential renters should be aware that Grand Case was quite devastated by Hurricane Irene in 2017. Many places are still uninhabitable along the beach and it feels deserted away from this building and two neighboring ones. Nevertheless, there is a strong will to make do and make it work for all. Surely there will be improvements in near future. This building is mostly renovated and restored to very high standard. 4+ high end restaurants along the street are busy, and especially we recommend L'Auberge Gourmand for a fabulous French dinner. Overall one of the best places we've stayed in on four trips to different Caribbean islands. Our needs and desires were excellently met. Highly recommended.

Great location

My husband and I just spent a week in this apartment. It was our first visit to St. Martin and the location was perfect. The apartment was well-equipped and it was on a beautiful beach. It is very close to many wonderful restaurants, which we were able to walk to. Anna, the property manager, was helpful and gave us great restaurant recommendations.

Convenient Location

We stayed here for 2 weeks in Jan, and this apt is conveniently located on the main boulevard in the center of Grand Case, near all the restaurants. Apt is ideal for 2 people with a fully equipped kitchen. There are also beach chaise lounge chairs with table and umbrellas. We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect

We stayed here for 1 week. Everything Carol says about her property is true. You are right on the beach, she has extra little things ie; cushions for you beach chairs. The place is clean, kitchen has lots of extra things. Anna the property manager is always around to help, she is a great lady. We would definitely stay there again .

Great Vacation!

We soooooo enjoyed our 8 night stay! Great location for just about everything and we loved Grand Case. Beautiful views and walks on the beach. We will be back!

Why they chose this property

We bought this charming apartment because we fell in love with this small French town in St,Martin.It is a very small town and we immediatly felt comfortable and at home.

What makes this property unique

This lovely town is reminisent of a local small town in France.Unlike the Dutch side it is not built up and congested as the French government will not allow it.It is directy on the beach and walking distance to many wonderful Restraunts,shops, and great bars right on the beach.There is a wonderful Patissieri across the street for French Breakfast,esspresso,cappaccinos,fresh baguettes and croissants.Every Tuesday in the Highseason there is Harmony Nite which vendors sell many local arts,jewlery,clothes and food,it is a very festive and fun nite.There is an internate cafe,pharmacy and grocery store also walking distance.The beach is very quiet but should you want more activity there is Orient Bay 5 min drive away and another of our favorites is Pinel Island also a five min drive.The capital of the french side Marigot is 20min away and has many restraunts,shops,and an open air market for souvenier shopping.We have recently re done the entire apt with new teak and bamboo furniture and painted it in soft carribean colors.There are other apts in Grand Case that we have stayed at but none with all the ammenites that we provide.You can spend less elswhere in places not as beautifully appointed as our apartment.We know you will enjoy your vacation with us!
