This home is a perfect choice for anybody who wants to be extremely close to uptown Charlotte, making Uber/Lyft rides inexpensive and expedient! The home is only 2 miles from the Charlotte Hornets' NBA arena where the Republican National Convention will be held, and only a 10 minute drive to the Airport. The home is 1 mile from Charlotte Panthers NFL stadium.

Across the street from the home, there is a neighborhood park with newly renovated tennis and basketball courts. Just a quick walk from the home is a greenway with walking trails, a dog park, and a neighborhood brewery!

The home is pet and child friendly with a fenced-in backyard.

Guests will have access to the entire home. The master suite, located on the first floor, has recently been upgraded with a new, queen-sized memory foam mattress and marble tile in the bathroom. The 2nd full bathroom is also located upstairs.

All 3 guest bedrooms are located upstairs. The primary guest bedroom has a queen-sized, memory foam bed, while the other two guest bedrooms have a full-sized, memory foam bed.

Feel free to utilize the kitchen and laundry during your stay. Additionally, you are welcome to relax on either our front or back porch, each having its own relaxing swing.

Guests will be given our cell phone numbers upon their arrival in case they have any questions or concerns during their stay. Upon request, we are happy to suggest recommendations of our favorite restaurants, breweries, and activities.

Mayo Bowl Charlotte Visit

Wonderful home with a very nice gated backyard that our dog enjoyed. Home was very comfortable, and its location was perfectly situated close to Charlotte near exciting food venues and activities.

Fantastic Experience

My brothers and I stayed here for a long weekend and can't say enough good things about the house and the owner. Communication was excellent - Matt was very helpful and responsive and I was able to text with questions and received prompt answers. For the home itself - it was perfect for our group (3 adults). The house was clean, comfortable, spacious, and updated. We were also able to use the grill since the weather was perfect. Overall, it was an excellent experience!

Simply perfect

This home was perfect for a family getaway. It was super clean, well appointed, had everything we needed and more. It felt very luxurious which we were not necessarily expecting for a pet/family friendly home. Hosts were super nice and accommodating.

My name is Matt and my wife’s name is Brooke. We are in our early 30’s and moved to Charlotte from our hometown of Memphis in 2015. We love to travel, especially to the mountains and lake. We have a 15-year-old black lab / border collie mix that weighs around 50 pounds. Our hobbies include hiking, listening to live music, and margaritas!! We have been VRBO owners since 2017 and absolutely love hosting families while we are away traveling ourselves!

Why they chose this property

This home has an ideal location in the city, close to not only the uptown area (1.5 miles) but only a short commute from the airport (10 minute drive). The home has a relaxing charm thanks to my interior-designer wife, Brooke! We love to relax on the back porch and drink our morning coffee in the swing that my great-grandfather built about 80 years ago. We are certain you will love your stay in our home.
