About Shelly West
I am a holistic psychotherapist with a love of nature and ecology. I enjoy expressing myself creatively through making art and designing spaces that encourage relaxation, connection with nature, and simplicity. The aesthetic that best describes my 'vision' is 'wabi-sabi', which encompasses the impermanence and natural, rustic, imperfections inherent in the natural world.

Why Shelly West chose Bitely
This is an incredibly rare piece of property, virtually untamed, retaining its natural 'wildness' and beauty. The crystal clear waters of Cedar Creek grace the property with an abundance of indigenous flora and fauna. The purity of creeks is often gauged by the abundance of dragon/damselflies living in this eco-system and this creek has literally thousands of these delightful, mystical, winged beings!
What makes this Mobile Home unique
Privacy, peace, quiet, access to untouched nature. Natural aroma and sound therapy! Perfect for meditation, reflection, and recalibrating yourself to Nature.

Great “Glamping” Get Awar
Surprised my husband with a camping trip for his birthday and it was wonderful! The camper is cute, clean and comfortable. Shelly & Karl have made a cute spot with grill and fire pit which is enjoyable for those coming in just a car!
Would stay again!
Little Fall Getaway
Just what I needed for a quick weekend fall getaway. Rained at night but sunny enough on Saturday for a walk. I brought quite a bit with me so I didn't need to use much - rain boots and jacket were much needed. Just big enough for two people, although I went solo and used the other bench for my gear. Heater was used the most but just enough to take the chill off. I would recommend bringing some hand sanitizer for the outhouse. Antibacterial wipes are provided but I was glad to find my hand sanitizer in the car. Also there were other campsites being used and it was quite loud at night with the 4-wheelers and revelry from the neighbors. Overall, good trip just not as quiet as you may be looking for.
Cute, cozy getaway in the woods
Absolutely loved it! Perfect for a cozy little getaway for at least one to two people. It was the cutest little vintage trailer with everything you needed including all your linens, cookware, a hot plate, drinkable water, a little electric heater, a very clean comfortable outhouse along with are really cute outdoor shower. Beautiful location tucked away in the forest! Four-wheel-drive definitely helped on the muddy roads. Also make sure to bring lots of bug spray as the mosquitoes were out in force after a rainstorm. Overall a beautiful, cozy little spot! Would highly recommend.
Nice place to unwind
Very enjoyable stay! The property was very pretty and easy to find. Good phone service with Verizon. Other than a little bit of traffic noise, it was a very peaceful stay. Thanks!
It was a cute nice getaway
Pine River basecamp
Our stay in the Damselfly made for a great weekend away. The owners have paid great attention to detail and it was a centrally located spot from which to explore the surrounding area. The weekend was perfect for a run down the Pine River, something we've wanted to do for some time after enjoying it the first time over 35 years ago.
