About this property

Take the easy drive up the mountain to the level parking area and enter in to the vacation home of your dreams. Only moments from the heart of Ruidoso, New Mexico this beautiful and modern home is the perfect getaway for your family. Two spacious bedrooms with king beds as well as a queen size sofa sleeper, bunk beds and a sleeper futon allow for all gets to get that good nights rest while enjoying the fresh mountain local. Pamper yourself in the jetted tub or huge Italian tiled shower off the master bedroom.

This home has all the amenities necessary such as WiFi, cable, central AC and a wet bar with mini fridges. The large kitchen is fully stocked with all appliances needed for those wonderful family meals. If outdoor cooking is more your style take advantage of the giant outdoor propane grill. When its time for fun travel downstairs to the game room with bumper pool table, flat screen TV and outdoor deck access as well. This level has another large bedroom with king bed and bath as well as the laundry area.

Ruidoso is an alpine mountain community. Expect twisty roads with steep grades. The weather is unpredictable and changes quickly. Elevation can vary between 6000’ to almost 12,000’. Most homes are multi-level with stairs on inclined lots. Expect wildlife to hinder traffic flow. Do not be surprised if the power goes out or when you lose internet or cell phone connection. This is the mountains, and it happens. We encourage guests be prepared with access to chains or 4-wheel drive in winter months for all our properties. This is not the big city. Life is easier and slower paced and more wonderful. This is why we come and why we stay. Relax and enjoy your time in paradise.

Comfortable but disappointing

There were ants all in the master bath. There was no hand soap in bathrooms. Lights out throughout the house. The lamp in master didn’t have a knob to turn on lamp. Heater was extremely noisy and the smell of gas was horrible. The towel rack in master was broken and needs to have anchors on it in to hold it. The table in living room was broke on leg when we got there. We travel a lot and was very disappointed with this property.

Great views but not satisfied

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home itself is beautiful but when we arrived I noticed the place was not clean. The dishwasher was full of dishes that had been sitting for who knows how long. The smell was horrible. The rest of the dishes and bbq grill were not very clean either. There was no cable like it was listed to have. The master shower had a horrible smell in the drain. It smelled of sewer. The tub in the master also was not clean very welll as there was hair or something else coming out of the jets. Overall the location and home itself was beautiful but the cleanliness of the home definitely needs to be better considering the amount we pay for this home.

Awesome getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Staying at the healing touch always helps us relax and getaway from the regular routine! House-cabin is very cozy with everything you need to relax. The views from the deck are very beautiful within the mountains. I highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again.
