A nice cottage but needs some TLC
This clearly used to be a wonderful cottage but The photos are not very up to date. The outside areas were unkempt & overgrown, the top terrace that we thought we would use a lot just wasn't a pleasant place to spend time & we had to clean the dining furniture before we could use it. The shower is in dire need of refreshing, and the fridge has seen better days. The kitchen is well equipped but we had to wash up a lot of things before we could use them (obviously not the owners fault). On the plus side the cottage is very cosy, the bed was really comfortable, it's really peaceful and the location is excellent. We wouldn't stay again as it really wasn't for us but it does have its charms.

Lovely
Ideally situated in the middle of a cliffside village on the banks of the Dordogne. It is very well equipped and comfortable. There is a lovely seating area outside to enjoy the warm evening and watch the hot air ballons floating by. Lots of little shops and restaurants. The Fat Pig is good, and if you want to push the boat out the Belle Etoile is next door, a real gourmet experience. A good central location for sightseeing. The property is built into the cliff so lots of stairs, and a low beam in the living room to watch out for. The owners are quick to respond. Highly recommended.

Perfect place to stay
My wife, daughter and I stayed there for a week and loved it. The owner was very helpful and went out of their way to make sure all of our needs were taken care of. Their home had all the amenities one to hope for including a washer for your clothes. The house is in a beautiful little town on the river and we would definitely stay there again.
