Charming typical for 4 people in the valley of the Dordogne, an ideal starting point for exploring the region of Perigord
The 17th century house has a large garden, near a field with cows on the top of a village.
It is independent with 95sqm living area for five people. On the same level you have a large living room with an open kitchen, a living room with sofas and a dining table, and a traditional fireplace with a wood stove. You can spend evenings here. There is also a flat screen TV (satellite receiver, DVB-T), a radio and a DVD player. The kitchen has a ceramic hob, extractor hood, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and all necessary utensils. On the other side of the house there are two bedrooms. The first bedroom has a king size bed (180 x 190cm), wardrobe and two chairs. The second bedroom has a wardrobe with floral motifs, two chairs and two single beds (90 x 190cm). It is possible to add a single bed. The bedding is new. A italian shower and a separate toilet
The house has a large, enclosed garden where you can savor meals. You can park your car in the garden.
Pet is welcome and a tourist information collection is scheduled, arranged according to themes. Baby equipment (bed, high chair, bath and dishes) can be provided on request.
At the foot of the local castle, and around the village, there are many hiking trails. The location in the Dordogne Valley makes the house an ideal starting point to explore the Périgord region with its activities, many of which are within 25 km. When you return from your visits, you can enjoy the peace, well quieted and comfort of home and dine in nearby restaurants with their specialties and regional wines. The village restaurant offers menus at good prices for lunch and dinner. In the neighboring village 3km away there are two grocery stores, newspapers, fruit and vegetables. You can also buy bread, the meat producer and dishes prepared on site there.

Quiet good location for the Dordoyne

Charming cottage with plenty of room. Great shower. New washing machine installed while we were there. Surprised we had to pay €35 for linen and €200 cash deposit and €45 if we wanted the cleaning done at the end, so I cleaned before we left. Could not see that anywhere in the property details or booking email. Needs an ironing board. Calico sheets a bit scratchy and rubberised protectors hot to sleep on. Generally very good though.

Fabulous gite, wonderful break

A beautiful gite with glorious garden. We loved everything about it, as did our cat 🐈‍⬛ Topsy. Comfortable beds, lovely open space and the bonus of a fabulous family-run restaurant a few minutes walk from the gite. Ann Claire is a lovely host. We will definitely be back 👍

Location agréable au sein d' un petit village bien située et à proximité des sites touristiques. Très bon restaurant dans le village. Accueil chaleureux d' Anne Claire et de bon conseil.
