Home was so spacious, clean and comfortable. Everything you need for a great stay!
Very special place
The owners made this a great experience, and we enjoyed how easy it was to see Fayetteville, because of the location, and the ability to relax when we were back in the beautifully decorated home. Thank you for sharing this home, and furnishing those extra little things. We hope to be back again.
It's like a staying in a "Fixer Upper"!
This is a wonderful home. It's very clean, stylish, and hospitable. There are lots of little extras included that make it an extra special place to stay. The location is great too. We will definitely be booking this place again. :-)
The property was very nice and easy to find.
Everything inside the house was extremely accomodating and made the experience very relaxed. I would definitely stay there again.
You could spend your whole trip walking around downtown Fayetteville. It has historic sights, beautiful gardens, local shops and restaurants, etc. The World Peace Fountain is a neat sculpture that sits right outside the Town Center. The Saturday morning Farmer’s Market is the perfect activity to kickstart your weekend. The Walton Arts Center is an awesome theater that has super neat performances come through. The Dickson Street Bookshop is a Fayetteville landmark that is a never-ending maze of floor to ceiling book shelves. And if books are your thing, Fayetteville’s public library is also pretty spectacular.
The baseball field is a few minutes down the road from The Swish Grit. Fayetteville loves its sports, and these games never disappoint.
The Razorback Regional Greenway-
If you like to get out and explore, this is really the way to do it. The Greenway is a 36 mile paved trail that starts down the street from The Swish Grit and connects Fayetteville to Bella Vista (almost to the Missouri border). You can rent a bike or ride your own and see some really incredible sites along the trail.
Food and Drink-
There are too many awesome restaurants to list, but here are some local favorites:
Hugo’s- downtown, old-Fayetteville burger joint. The atmosphere is as awesome as the food.
Bordinos- fine dining (i.e. expensive) Italian, upscale atmosphere, and a tourist favorite. The drink list and wine selection is impressive - as is the food.
Mockingbird Kitchen- really delicious takes on classic dishes. Healthy options and an excellent lunch spot.
Damgoode Pies- hands-down one of the best pizza places in Arkansas.
Herman’s Ribhouse- another one on the pricier side but with casual dining. This one is a historic Fayetteville classic that offers some mighty delicious steaks. (Not as conveniently located as some of the others, but it still deserves a place on the list.)
Sassy’s Red House- Arkansas is proud of its bbq, and this place does it justice.
Fayetteville is home to a number of local breweries that are fun to check out. Here are just a few (and most serve tasty food as well!):
