SPECIAL RATES - SPRING SEASON and SPRING BREAK

Welcome to Shipwatch!! You came here for the beach and with the great 2nd floor location of this villa you get an incredible beach view. Shipwatch has four buildings and Building A is the building closest to the Beach so when you are ready to go to the beach you are just an elevator ride and a short walk away. The covered and furnished balcony makes a great spot to enjoy your morning coffee or to take an afternoon break and experience the panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean.
Getting in and out is easy here since the covered parking is located under the building. Just pull in park and then get one of the convenient luggage carts to load up. Roll it into the elevator and press floor two to go up to the villa.
The Pool Area at shipwatch is the best in Wild Dunes and you are located right beside the oceanfront pool. There are two pools here the children's pool and then a large beautifully tiled main pool with two areas, a general play area and a roped off area for for swimming.
This Condo was recently remodeled. You will enjoy the up to date kitchen and the 3 nice flat screened TV's. The Wild Dunes resort features two beautiful Golf Courses, Restaurants, Shops,a spa and miles of nice walking and biking paths and of course miles of pristine beach. Charleston is just a short drive away so you may want to plan an easy daytrip to absorb the history of the area and the friendliness of the local population that is so well known for nationally. The area also features good shopping and excellent restaurants. So come enjoy the beach, the area, the excellent restaurants and the great shopping! Have a great vacation!

Shipwatch 203A

We have stayed at the Shipwatch property several times over the years and this was one of the most unprepared Condos I have ever rented. There was no welcome starter pack that they advertise. We found a garbage bag with damp towels, bath mats and wash cloths in a closet the 2nd day we were there and had to launder them before we could use them. The floors were very sandy. Not very clean. Twin bed mattresses are very hard and uncomfortable. I might stay at Shipwatch in the future, but certainly not in 203A.

Nice condo with view of the beach

The condo was nice, comfortable and clean. There was a nice balcony with a view of the beach, which could be easily accessed by a quick walkway. Though it’s still nice, very soon the unit will need some updates.

great location, under renovations?

The location of the property is perfect! Beachfront, with a beautiful ocean view and a short walk to the beach. We were slightly disappointed with the cleanliness and appearance of the unit. The floors must have just been re-done, and part of the cabinets were refinished. There was still splashes of grout and unfinished trim work with the floor, and the air filter was completely caked with dust. We contacted maintenance for a new filter, which was a fast and easy fix. The shower heads both looked like they needed replaced or cleaned really well because they were moldy. The same maintenance person was able to clean the shower heads for us also. Once the unit's updates are completed, it should be very nice! The choice of new flooring was very pretty and on trend.

The King bed in the Master bedroom and the 2 single beds in the 2nd bedroom offer the comfort for a relaxing time. The couch opens up to a Queen Sleeper to allow for extra sleeping arrangements. Downtown Charleston is only 30 minute drive and the enjoyment of discovering the history that is Charleston.
