The Plaza Condominiums by Crested Butte Mountain Resort offer a number of resort amenities which you will have access to:

NOTICE: The HOA for The Plaza is redoing the stucco on the exterior of the building. This will cause noise from the hours of:

• Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m,
• Saturday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m,
• Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Balconies may not be available for use and scaffolding will be visible from the units.

FALSE ADVERTISING!

The online photos of the property are gorgeous. The trouble is they are false! Please do not fall prey to these scammers. I booked a family trip based on the updated photos, wood burning fireplace, hopes of ski in/ski out lodging and a quiet stay. The facility was very tired and rundown. Walking into the lobby smelled “old” and musty. The unit was not the same as the modern photos. It was very dated. There was no wood burning fireplace even though the photos show wood stacked up on the balcony and list it and the owner confirmed it. The unit was over 100 yards to the slopes. The road noise outside our unit was loud and continued all day long and into the night. I complained to the property mgr. and host, however there was no remedy other than “sorry” and a $200 refund. PLEASE DO NOT RENT THIS UNIT. I should have listened to the other reviews. I wanted to believe it would never happen to my family and me. It did. If you rent this unit, you do so at your risk and will end up REGRETTING IT!

The condo was great. The facility (The Plaza) was dirty with trash and packages in the halls. The hot tubs were broken.

Warning! Bait and Switch is Right

Read the "Bait and switch classic" review below - we had a very similar experience: Drove 1,200 miles and checked in only to be forced to take a condo that we did not rent. (In fact, we were forced to take a unit that we intentionally chose NOT to rent - modern, uncomfortable, George Jetson furniture, not enough seating space, needed cleaning.) This turned into countless hours on hold and 48 hours of fingerpointing between VRBO, Leavetown and the property front desk. First we were told that VRBO sent through a request for the wrong unit. Next we were told that the unit we rented was under construction. The next day we were told this wasn't true - it had just been given to someone else. After that we were told that we would be given another unit only to be told the next day that we wouldn't. Finally after there were no excuses left in the playbook they came clean and admitted that they simply reserve the right to unilaterally move you into a different unit without notice. My response was as follows: (1) they don't state anywhere in the materials that they might give you a different unit than the one you rented; (2) the unit I reserved has a specific property number that was included on my confirmation (and the unit I received, but didn't want, has a different property number); (3) the units in the building all have different price points (i.e., if I knew they were going to move me into a unit I didn't want I would have rented a cheaper unit); and (4) my confirmation email and reservation has actual pictures of the unit I rented and was supposed to have been given. At one point they acknowledged that they need to add clear language to their web site. Until then I would strongly recommend staying away from units in this building and Leavetown-managed properties!

Awesome location, very close to restaurants .

Fully equipped kitchen, lots of towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, very nicely decorated ,wood fireplace, will stay here again.

Nice condo - on the mountain

Summer time stay - Three bedroom condo was nice - nice decor, good layout, clean, and great to have three bathrooms - the drawback of our unit was the street noise and lack of a view- so, request a Mountain View condo, or put up with the street noise.
