About this property

Close to the modern conveniences of Escazu and San Jose, but without the hustle and bustle. The poolside villa is located in the beautiful hills of Escazu, 15 minutes from San Jose, 10 minutes from Cima Hospital and the US Embassy, and 25 minutes from the Airport. Enjoy refreshing walks, relaxing in the pool and jacuzzi, or sipping coffee on your private deck. My wife and I live on the property and are here to help make your stay as comfortable as possible. If privacy is what you prefer, however, the poolside villa is a separate home with it's own private garden. The pool and jacuzzi are only shared with my family and one other villa, so you won't be sharing the pool with a whole condominium or hotel. While staying in San Jose, why not enjoy nature and relax. We look forward to hosting you!

Central Haven: A Comfortable Stopover in the Heart of Costa Rica

We selected this rental as a key part of our driving tour across Costa Rica, thanks to its central location and the convenience it offered for airport access. It served as a strategic stopover on our journey from the west coast to the Caribbean and again as our final stop after departing from Limon, en route to the San Jose airport. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming, offering a wealth of information about Costa Rica. The property was meticulously clean and thoughtfully arranged. Although the house does not have air conditioning, we found this to be unnecessary due to the pleasantly mild weather, particularly during the evenings. One note for future guests: the windows lack screens, so leaving them open overnight might invite unwelcome guests, although we did not encounter this issue ourselves. It was, however, a consideration before retiring each night. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would be delighted to rent this property again on a future visit to Costa Rica.
