Lovely ground floor in a 1800s kitchen house just steps from the King street. The Garden apt is set up as a in-law suite and features a main room with a queen sized bed, sitting area, and separate kitchen with small eating table and chairs overlooking garden. It includes a separate entrance, small outdoor patio, private bath, closet and original hardwood floors. Recently redone, private and very safe.

Great location to DT
I liked the location of the property. I walked all along King Street several times a week as the home is only a few blocks away. The family upstairs is very respectful regarding any needs you may have and I found them to be very quiet in the evenings/mornings. The bed is very comfortable with nice soft beddings. My two negatives are 1) there is no designated parking. You either have to pay to park a few blocks away or you have to move your car every couple of hours to avoid getting a ticket. 2) No washer or dryer. Toting towels, sheets and clothes to be cleaned is a challenge, especially if your car is parked a bit away.

Easy access to King St, Mt Pleasant and Folly.
Excellent, quiet location. The shower is super small but manageable. You will have to pay for parking a block away through Palmetto Parking. It’s easy and the walk was a block to the house. You’ll walk past the College of Charleston which has great free museums. Please leave a donation at the museum. I never felt unsafe walking alone. Enjoy your time there. I stayed a month and would stay again.

Charleston Getaway
I stayed here for a month WFH! Fabulous experience. Close to the downtown area, great wifi, all the amenities you could possibly need. The only thing I'd suggest is a tad more details on the welcome sheet about the A.C. unit and the shower nozzles. The laundry was kind of a burden as I am not accustomed to laundromats and could not go before/after working hours so stocked up on clothing to not have to go to laundromat. They are great hosts and respected privacy but also communicated anything! Very safe neighborhood and the most quaint house. Would love to go back!
