Ask a questionAbout Michele Palatas
I moved to Alaska from Los Angeles in 1998 to work in the Arctic. Deadhorse, Alaska on the edge of the Beaufort Sea was my base of operations for four and a half years. WesternGeco, the company I worked for then sent me down on the Kenai peninsula for six months, where I lived in a cabin on the Moose River in Sterling. Then I decided it was time to buy a house in Anchorage. I purchased a duplex and turned half into a fully furnished GuestHouse and eventually moved out and turned my half into another fully furnished GuestHouse. I enjoy meeting people from around the world who frequent the GuestHouse. I also have a dog-walking business, Bubba's Dog Walking.
Michele Palatas purchased this house in 2002
Why Michele Palatas chose Northeast Anchorage
Anchorage is a great base for exploring the wild wonderful place called Alaska! It is a gorgeous drive south on the Seward Highway heading down to Girdwood, Seward, Homer, Hope, Coopers Landing and places in between on the Kenai Peninsula. There is much to see and much to do, especially in the great outdoors! Anchorage offers great restaurants, shopping, museums, citywide trails for biking, hiking, skiing....mountains for snowboarding, downhill, snowmachining and dogsledding........heading north to Denali, Fairbanks, the arctic brings unimaginable wonders to see and experience!
