About this property

Visitors are welcome to enjoy a deck and patio that overlook Lake Winnebago, plus a shaded porch and patio that face Niagara Escarpment. Our three lovely bedrooms feature big windows and private space. The bedroom on the main floor has a queen bed and private bath. Two bedrooms on the lower level share a full bath; one bedroom has a queen bed and the other a single and double bed. Guests may also use our sunroom and great room. Our home has easy access to Hwy. 151 and I-41 near Fond du Lac, WI. The price of $375 applies to the rental of all three rooms/night. For guests wishing to rent one room, the price is $125 per night per room, plus taxes and fees. Owners will be on site and will offer an included breakfast each morning.

Great sunsets

Tom and Janie were great host and the view from the property is nice. Breakfasts were great way to start the day.

Best possible stay

The hosts were fantastic. Warm and inviting, they made our stay special. Breakfast was delicious. The view of Lake Winnebago is unreal. We didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend! We’ll be back!

Nice owners but this is a B& B

Very nice owners and a beautiful clean home, but it should have been listed first thing in the property description that this is a bed and breakfast. We missed the last sentence that said owners on site.

A Great Time at the Ryder Cup!!

Went to the Ryder Cup with 3 friends and stayed at this property. Don't get me wrong, the accommodations were excellent (very clean and comfortable). Having said that, our hosts, Tom and Janie, made the trip! Janie cooked wonderful breakfasts each day for us and Tom introduced us to a "sweet" old fashion. Who knew? :-) The owners really made us feel at home and we are all extremely grateful to our hosts who welcomed us into their beautiful home! A note to all, though, don't play Tom in darts or ping pong! Dude's got skills!! Thanks, guys! Jim, Philip, Greg, Trace

Beautiful Hosts and Property

This was a beautiful property with very gracious hosts. Unfortunately we had a short stay but Tom and Janie were so wonderful doing anything to make us feel at home. It was like staying at a relatives home. If we are ever in the area again, we will stay again!

Tom and Janie Niedfeldt are retired tour operators and teachers who enjoy the outdoors, traveling, and meeting new people. We have four children and six grandchildren.

Why they chose this property

We built our country home on this site in 2001 because of the stunning view of Lake Winnebago and its access to 135 acres of natural parkland on the Niagara Escarpment behind us.

What makes this property unique

From our decks and great room we enjoy gorgeous sunsets and even exciting air shows when AirVenture Oshkosh (EAA) happens across the lake from us. Our home has two decks, two patios, and a front porch with comfy chairs and even a swing. We have an open concept in our great room, dining room, and kitchen, a quiet sunroom, and walkout basement. Our home is easily accessible from Highways 41, 23, and 151.
