family vacation

Overall, our family had a great stay. The house was all we expected. The stairs getting to house are a bit much but manageable. The house was within 10 to 30 minutes to all the places we wanted to visit. I feel bad, I didn't check my email and did not see the departure instructions. We went by the list on the refrigerator so didn't do a few things before we left. The departure list should be added to the guest book. Again, Sorry

Nice home with a view

We enjoyed this property with the view from the kitchen and great room being the highlight. A number of deck furniture pieces were broken, as were a few dining chairs. The bedrooms while they were just 'nice' left a bit to be desired in the comfort and sizes of the beds. With 2 families with children our plan to grill was thwarted by an aged and dirty grill situation. While I did not enjoy cleaning the deck and grill from what seemed like multiple cookings of ashes everywhere (just to get to the grill) the fact that parts of the grill were too rusted to move (air flow and vents) made cooking on this aged weber even more difficult. The stairs from parking to the property were steeper and smaller than photos, and quite slippery in morning and evenings. Borderline dangerous when carrying things. Lastly, to the children's dismay, the firepit we looked forward to using at evenings sits directly below the neighbor's deck, not 10 feet from property line. As good neighbors, we chose NOT to make a fire and cook hot dogs, mountain pies, and S'mores for the kids out of respect for the prevailing winds that would have smoked out the neighbors. Perhaps the next renter appreciated all of the wood we left. My recommendation would be to move the fire pit to the rear of the property. Lastly, labels on every drawer and cabinet and wall of the property made it feel much less like 'home' (we could do without all the signage), and the ice maker decided to make ice on its own schedule. Other than that the home has a great view, it is a wonderfully sized home for a group, but we would probably seek different accommodations next time. The goal was to enjoy time with family and friends and that was accomplished.

We were very disappointed in our stay . The house setup was nice , very spacious but there was dust in the bathrooms, the bathrooms connect to the halls and the locks did not even work.The sunroom had spider webs , broken table, the jets in the master suite didnt work and maintence couldnt fix it . The couch downstairs was practically broken. The internet did NOT work the entire weekendstay and maintence came twice and still didnt get it to work , everything in the house is very very old, no smart tvs , no updated bathrooms , it was just a disappointment and maintence wasnt able to help much . We regret booking this cabin , I called to speak to a manager and never heard back .

Great Place!

We thought this house was perfect for us- great layout. plenty of space to spread out but nice common spaces as well. Lots of games, books pool table, hot tub- everything you need to relax and have fun!
