A great summer respite.
We enjoyed our stay and spent a relaxing week listening to the loon calls. A classic log lodge which was well equipped for our stay.

Mouse Droppings and Not Comfortable
The photos online made it look like a nice place to unwind. Don't judge a book by its cover. The steps down to the lake were dangerous. There was a good amount of space between each step. There were no comfortable couches or chairs to relax in inside. Our second morning, I woke up to find mouse droppings in our bedroom. I contacted the host and it took him an hour to respond. We ended up cleaning it ourselves. Two days after we left, the host contacted me saying one of his wicker chairs had a hole in it. My wife and I were the only ones sitting in it. In fact, I sat in it the morning we left and would have noticed a hole. I asked the host for proof and he told me he would be gone for two weeks and couldn't provide it at the time of request. I would recommend another place to stay.

Really nicecabin in the woods
The cabin was so nice and roomy, We spent a week there and everything we needed was there. We saw deer foxes a turkey all from the windows. We brought our boat up and had fish once a day.

This cabin has been in the same family since the late 60's. Originally from Nebraska the family spent all their summers at this cabin. There have been 4 generations here at one time. A lot of wonderful memories.
