Spacious property with fantastic pool
I hope this is taken as helpful. When booking with Vrbo and you fill in the filters, we have only just discovered that as you move from one area of France to another, it wipes all filters out. Hence, when we arrived, we discovered there was no internet and only a spasmodic phone signal. To log on was a 20 mile round trip to the supermarket, which was far from confidential or ideal.
The house is spacious and extremely well equipped, but with an unusual washing machine which was like a mousetrap. We have never seen anything like this before!
The pool was the best feature. Having had more than 40 self catering holidays in France, this was the largest we have come across, and the cleanest. The robot cleaner was fascinating to watch, as was the robot mower, which caused endless amusement falling down holes and careering between trees. It is a pity that there are so many new houses going up overlooking the property - it must be a real disappointment for the owners. They have planted trees to try to screen the pool, but we fear it will be some time before you feel when swimming that you are in a goldfish bowl.
The local bakers were very friendly and gave us an opportunity for a daily walk.
We had wonderful weather, with only a couple of showers and two days of clouds over the month spent there. We watched microlights and a hot air balloon come over the house and had a really enjoyable time.
