Nightmare
This was my first time using this app and it was a terrible experience. I arrived at the property only to be greeted by a man, which i was confused about as the name on the booking was a woman’s name - Ana. The man proceeds to explain that he doesn’t know anything about the booking (although I already payed around £125) and says that the woman names is his wife. He is adamant that he doesn’t know anything and shuts the door. I try calling the number on the booking hoping to reach ana but to no avail. I get a call from the same number and it was a male voice . Almost identical to the man who opened the door. He proceeded to say the property is “unavailable” even though I was outside the house. I told him I knew he was the same man that was at the door and he hung up the phone and blocked my number. This caused a huge inconvenience as I have already paid for the property in advance. I am entitled to a refund as I believe this is something this person does often to scam people out of their money.
