The house is nice and the view is beautiful HOWEVER, upon arrival, the property manager's associate casually mentioned that all of the blinds/window treatments in the master bedroom were broken and did not close. He said he didn't know if/when anyone would be there to fix them during our THREE night stay. Two of the walls in the master bedroom are primarily glass; this leaves you with no privacy, bright sunlight at 6:00am and the afternoon heat beating through the windows. Before the property manager left, I noticed the upstairs (where the master and other two bedrooms are) air conditioning was not cooling the house. The temperature had climbed from 76 degrees to 80 degrees in a few minutes. We asked to speak to the home owner. It took him over an hour to call us and when he finally did, he admitted that the AC had not been working properly and they had already had someone look at it. We asked when it would be fixed. He told us, "he was a very busy man and did not know if he could get it fixed before the end of our stay." My husband told him that was unacceptable and he told us to find something else if we weren't happy". He said he would refund our money. This left us searching for three hours to find a hotel with THREE vacant rooms on a June weekend at the beach. We had to pay a premium because of the last minute booking. On top of it all, the property manager has not issued us a refund and is still trying to charge us the full amount for a house that we weren't in for more than an hour. This listing should be permanently removed from VRBO.
