About this property

The condo is newly renovated with a comfortable, warm, but clean modern style! A screened porch with chairs/ottomans offer great views of the beautifully landscaped golf course and at sunrise expect to see a menagerie of birds congregated at the pond directly behind the condo! The pool is on open water and located just across the street! Beautiful Ft. De Soto Beach and St. Pete Beach are 5 minutes away! Several fab restaurants are within walking distance, as well as a shopping center for dry cleaning, salon needs, etc..!!

Regarding the interior of the condo, expect to see beautiful high end furnishings and finishes. The color palette is very soothing and relaxing. I have been an interior designer for 40 years and designed this home as our second home, when we are not in VA, so I took extra care with designing with comfort, as well as style. The floor is a beautiful glazed wood in soft grey, while the walls are painted soft white to aid in the clean fresh feeling. The sofas have upgraded fabric and custom inserts to ensure maximum comfort. The master bedroom has the Celebrity Tempurpedic style king size mattress and the den/bedroom has a queen size 7" thick upgraded mattress, but is still a pull out bed and not as comfy as a mattress. There is a mattress topper in the closet for use. The main TV is of excellent quality and is a 52" Samsung wall mount with additional R/L speakers and center channel for excellent sound quality. The Den/Bedroom has a 32" wall mount Samsung as an additional TV. Porcelain tile appoints the kitchen, bath, screened porch floors and tub/shower walls. Vertical blinds are used though out for convenient light control. The cabinets in the condo are all European high quality veneer in a dark chocolate brown with stainless steel pulls. All cabinetry tops are ivory quartz material. The kitchen back-splash is multi colored grey glass mosaic tile and the appliances are Whirlpool. The bath fixtures are all Koehler with chrome faucets/handles. There is a wonderful, deep, soaking tub in the master bath for relaxation and a large walk-in shower in the guest bath with a floor to ceiling glass shower enclosure.

Quite, relaxing month long stay

This condo was perfect for my husband and me. We loved the screened in porch where we enjoyed the picturesque view of the sunrise over the golf course. There was plenty of storage space for our clothes, and the bed was very comfortable. The condo is a short walk across the street to the heated pool and hot tub; be sure to enjoy the sounds of the bay, the warmth of the sun, and watch the boats and dolphins from there. It was only a short drive to find plenty of beach access at St. Pete Beach, pickleball courts, tennis courts, restaurants and grocery stores. There are lots of areas to walk and bike near the condo too. Finally and most importantly, communication with Ada was fabulous! She makes every effort to make sure you are comfortable and happy.

Pets not allowed however owner has two cats. We assumed we were renting a pet free condo.

From the start the cats danader was an issue. The sofas were uncomfortable and very very soft. The master bedroom walk closet is 75% taken up with owners clothes. The second closet was an owner's closet . As a result we had 5 feet of closet space. The fridge and stove are dated. Never mind the stacked washer and dryer were vintage. Three hours to dry two bath towels? We contacted the owner in mid February asking for her to try and rent the property for March. She advised it takes over a month to get a security clearance and was not possible. We finally left March 10th giving up 18 days of our vacation. Not a good experience!

Casa Del Mar Golf Course Condo

Condo was very comfortable for our one month stay. It is well furnished with nicely-updated bathrooms. Location on the Isla del Sol golf course provides a vista with lots of greenery and attractive landscaping. Very close water access to both Boca Ciega Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. This area has many recreational areas within an easy drive. Ada was an extremely accommodating host and helped to make our stay very pleasurable!

Great condo, Great location !

Condo was perfect for my 6 week stay! Loved the location. Great golf coarse view from the patio and just minutes to the beach. Ada was a joy to deal with. She got back to me right away when I had a question. Condo had it all!. Brand new kitchen and bathrooms. Beautifully furnished! I will hopefully be returning next year!

Hi! We love sharing our VA home while we are in FL, so we have decided to share our FL home while in VA! I grew up in VA, where we have a daughter and grandchildren, so we love spending time there. We have a son in real estate in the St. Pete area, so we spend half of the year here. We are very blessed and fortunate to be able to do so now, as we have both just retired!

Our VA home has seasons, so we love it. We love FLORIDA, because it has only ONE SEASON! Beautiful days every day! Both my husband and I moved here in 1979 and had successful businesses here since then: he a painting contractor and I an interior designer. We love the Isla community. Everyone is so kind and the grounds are kept beautifully. We love to be able to just shut the door and go to VA, knowing that the fab pool and grounds will be kept beautifully.
