About this property

One of 2 -2 bedroomed, independent villas all on 1 level. Fully air-conditioned, with a spacious well equipped kitchen with induction hob, fan oven, dishwasher & washing machine. With it's own private, secluded garden, a sun terrace and BBQ. A selection of books, games & DVD's are available and an assortment of children's toys.
All within private grounds with dedicated off road parking for 2 cars.
In a quiet village location 5 minutes drive from Saint Chinian with its twice weekly market, restaurants, cafe's and bars. Superb walking/mountain biking through the vineyards surrounding the village and only 12 kilometres from the canal du midi. There is a boulangerie in the village for your breakfast croissant and baguette and a cave co-operative for the obligatory wine tasting. A short drive takes you to the Haut Languedoc Natural Park and the River Orb Valley with it's picturesque medieval villages and rugged gorges, where you can swim or kayak in the river, lunch alfresco at a cafe and take an evening stroll amongst the vines.

We had a fabulous holiday staying at Villa Picholine. The property was excellent, beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. With its own private terrace and access to the wonderful pool we couldn’t have asked for more. Cebazan is a delightful area and perfectly situated for exploring and visiting a multitude of different places. A big “thank you” to our hosts Alyson and Bryan whose undeniable hard work has resulted in an amazing location. They were friendly, helpful and informative hosts who were on hand should you need them but otherwise left you to enjoy your holiday.

Wundervolle Villa mit großartigem Pool

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in der Villa. Es ist wirklich alles da, was man braucht. Die Anlage ist sehr großzügig und wunderschön angelegt. Alles ist sehr sauber und in einem top Zustand. Die Betten sind sehr bequem!!! Der Pool lässt ebenfalls keine Wünsche offen. Es gibt sogar eine kleine Poolbar, in der man zu kleinen, fairen Preisen gekühlte Getränke kaufen kann. Das Haus ist voll klimatisiert, was wir bei teils 40 Grad auch dringend benötigt haben. Die Gegend ist sehr vielseitig. Man kann schöne Städte/Dörfer besuchen, Kanu fahren, Canyoning machen, wandern, schwimmen u.v.m. Das Grundstück liegt sehr ruhig. Man kann sich hier wunderbar erholen. Auch eine sehr gute Patisserie ist fußläufig in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Unbedingt die Törtchen probieren! Ein größerer Supermarkt ist 10 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt in St. Chinian. Dieser hat im Sommer auch sonntags geöffnet. In St. Chinian gibt es Sonntags und Donnerstags auch einen schönen Markt und einige Restaurants. Wenn wir noch einmal in diese Gegend kommen, werden wir dieses Haus auf jeden Fall wieder buchen. Danke für die schönen Ferien……

Family holiday

Stayed in the property for a week recently. The property was spotless and had everything we needed. The pool area was wonderful and Alyson and Bryan are great hosts, helping in any way needed. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and we won’t hesitate in returning to the area and the property.

Wunderbar!

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in dem Ferienhaus, sehr nette Vermieter, tolles gepflegtes Anwesen. Haus ist modern, sauber, schön und durchdacht eingerichtet, Küche fehlt es an nichts. Der Pool ist toll, wir waren oft alleine dort. Wir können es 100% empfehlen, vielen Dank für die schöne Woche!

After starting & running a successful business in the UK & converting a couple of old properties in our "spare time" we have now found our own little bit of France here in Languedoc Roussillion. In 2011 we bought a plot of land and over the last few years we have built 2 holiday villas with a shared pool and a home for ourselves.

Why they chose this property

Cébazan is a charming, small village and one of the 20 winemaking villages of the St Chinian appellation. It is ideally situated for visiting many of the area's attractions.

What makes this property unique

We passed this parcel of land everyday when going for a walk in the surrounding vineyards. It is perfectly situated on the edge of the village of Cébazan, but it feels like you are in the middle of the countryside. When it came up for sale we jumped at the chance to buy it. Now, a few years on we are so glad we did as it is such a tranquil, relaxing place to be. Each Villa has its own private, secluded garden with a South facing terrace, where you can choose to sit in either the sun or the shade.
