Hydra: house with spectacular view of the sea - For 3 persons, all conveniences

Kala Nea is an adorable authentic little house, nearly 200 years old, being completely renovated in 2015. The house is very accessible : only a few steps to consider to the house (rare in Hydra !) and a 2 minute walk away from the sea having a jetty to swim off. The town can easily be reached along the coastal road taking about 10 minutes by foot or by sea taxi (3 minutes).
The master bedroom has incredible views of the sea. There is also a 2nd bedroom (1 single bed) and an office-studette (with 1 possible extra bed for a kid). There is also a modern bathroom (shower), kitchen with all necessary utensils (but no washing machine available) and a cosy winter lounge. Includes Hifi CD player and radio, CDs/books, dock Bose for iphone, WiFi.
Outside offers a large terrace and spectacular views towards Dokos and the Peloponnese, letting you enjoy wonderful sunsets every evening. Consists of an outside kitchen, seating for all and a Weber BBQ.
The house is stylish with a charming style of mixed modern and antique furniture. The house includes a/c (heating during winter) plus ceiling fans with all modern conveniences. Grocery stores and restaurants in Kamini are just 2 minutes away.
Please note: beach towels are not included. It is also a non-smoking house.
Situated in the unique Saronic Gulf Island with no motor vehicles or bicycles, Hydra Island makes a perfect holiday place.

Très bien - à vrai dire mieux qu’on pensait

Visites culturelles, baignades en mer tous les matins, randonnées , lectures, restaurants et supers petits déjeuners et dîners à la maison sur la terrasse.

Wonderful sunset view

This is a very beautiful house, impeccably designed and furnished. The terrace is incredible views but is staggeringly hot / boiling during the day. We would not recommend this property for anyone with a toddler / young children as the terrace does not get shade and the outdoor stairs are quite dangerous. For couples it would be perfect though. The property manager is wonderful, helpful and great to deal with. We were however wrongly accused of breaking furniture by the cleaner, so be aware!

A Gem in Kamini

Had a relaxing and enjoyable stay at this beautiful little house tucked just a few steps up from the main path in Kamini. I've stayed nearer the Port before, but the short 8-10 minute walk to this home was well worth it to wake up to the peaceful sea view from my bedroom window each day. The outdoor deck space was a plus, the full kitchen was well equipped, and WiFi was very good. The interior decor is worthy of publication and I wish I could have stayed longer!
