Enchanted Rock is one of the most beloved natural landmarks while staying in Fredericksburg lodging and the entire TX hill country; nobody has a better view of this great landmark than guests of Rockview Cabins. Enchanted Rock is a huge pink granite pluton rock formation located about 15 miles north of Fredericksburg. The great rock covers around 640 acres and stands about 425 feet above the surrounding land.
The charming private cabins at Rockview Cabins were built to take advantage of the great view as all cabins are built to face the famous rock. Each includes a front porch, just perfect for swinging on the porch swing and taking in an unforgettable sunset. Inside the cabins, you are sure to appreciate all the attention to detail.
Cabin Number 1 offers a king size bed in the spacious open living area. You will surely appreciate the full kitchen and dinette as well. The cabin offers a Smart TV with satellite selections. You will also enjoy a large private bathroom with a whirlpool tub with overhead rain shower head.

Such a beautiful destination! Pictures do the scenery no justice. The cabin was perfect for me and my husband to enjoy our honeymoon.. definitely recommend

Great views, a ways out of town, Missing some basics

We stayed here while attending a wedding in Fredericksburg. The property itself is very nice and has a great view. The cabin is small, but nice, but lacking some basics like dish soap and sponge for washing dishes. Only the very basics are here, so be sure to bring everything you need. We got locked out of the cabin and Absolute Charm - the rental agency was very helpful, so we were very appreciative for that.

Great base camp for Enchanted Rock

Good location, amenities, etc. New construction. Would highly recommend. There were a few little bugs, like the water heater needed to be turned on, but all-in-all, we had a wonderful time! Would definitely stay there again.

Nice Cabin but Not Clean

My wife and I stayed in Rock View Cabin #1 this past weekend, 1/16-1/12, and although the property was very nice and overall we enjoyed our time, there were some serious cleanliness issues that we believe need to be addressed. Our first night there, we tried to figure out the ac/heating remote (there were no instructions to be found). We saw that the filter in the unit was filthy, and there was mold on the louvers. The next day more issues came to our attention and made us somewhat concerned if the cabin was even sanitized to protect guests from any illnesses or viruses! The area under the kitchen sink was just a jumble of utensils and BBQ supplies. The most concerning was the dirty sponge in the dish drainer's utensil holder and the fly swatter laying across the BBQ tongs. There was a receipt dated 12/21/20 on the floor between a chair and the wall. The welcome note hadn’t been cleaned in months. The last picture shows where I wiped my finger across the glass and the line left in the dust. It was disappointing to see a nice property neglected like it was. I know that you, at Absolute Charm, hold a high standard for the properties that you rent, and I wouldn’t imagine that this would be what we would run into if we chose to stay in one of your properties in the future, but in all honesty, we would have to think twice before renting from AC again. For your reputation and the price we paid, we expected more. I guess the biggest disappointment was; we emailed all of this and photos to the property management company, Absolute Charm, and got a poor response. Nowhere did they take responsibility for the condition of the property and never once offered an apology.
