My name is Esther and I was born and raised in this small town called Bukit Mertajam in the state of Pulau Pinang (Mainland), in Malaysia.
My family and my friends have called me a ‘typical traveller’ because I would travel whenever I have free time and whenever I could afford it, whether it is inside the country or overseas, I’d turn my backpack into a luggage and travel as a backpacker.
Why travel to unknown places?
I love great challenges like getting lost in places that I’ve never been to, that’s what discovery means. Beyond that, I enjoy discovering places that are unique and non-mainstream, it enables me to write my own story and create pieces of memory like puzzles that I could put together and they last forever. There’s a saying goes, “The tan will fade but the memories will last forever.”
Whenever I travel, I would look for a place that I called “home” because I have been living in my house for more than 20 years, therefore I will not live in a shelter that I can’t call home.
Bukit Mertajam, a place that is not well-known in international level, but is definitely a quite popular region nationwide. I’d dare to say that this place will create a chain of memories.

The RumahBM City is a 3-bedroom Apartment located in BM City, an unique and perfect accommodation located at Bukit Mertajam. Our sweet home can fit 6 pax. !!!

The RumahBM City has 1 en-suite large bedroom with 1 queen size beds that accommodate 2 comfortably . And another 2 small bedroom with 2 queen beds that can accommodate 4 people.The living hall has one comfortable sofa and provides semi-privacy with curtain partition.

Our kitchen is equipped with 1 fridge and washing machine. Simple cutlery and crockery are provided. You can cook some light cooking here.

The entire unit is air conditioned and is equipped with unlimited fibre optic high speed (up to 100Mbps) wifi. In the living room, we got provide TVbox with free movie, so you can relax after a long day of tour.

We also provide each guest a clean towel throughout the stay and you can find shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom. Do take your own toothbrush and toothpaste. Don't worry we also provide 3 hair dryers.

If you drive here, don’t worry about where to park, we here provide 2 free secured indoor carpark for your beloved car. We will also show you where to park .

1. We are very open to any special request or enquiry, just don't be shy and come talk to us. Our superhost will help you throughout your stay.

2. Our semi-kitchen provides only induction cooker,water filter purefier and a fridge, we are afraid you could not be a masterchef here. But being in this food paradise, there would be little time for you to spend in the kitchen as all time would be spend on the street feasting with all local street food delicacies! Feel free to take away and have a food party at our place!
