Skylights in the loft bedroom provide a beautiful view of the night sky. Enhance your stargazing experience by visiting the star dome. This clear domed bubble tent provides an unobstructed view of the night sky and is equipped with a heater and a queen sized bed. If the weather doesn't cooperate, you can still enjoy the king sized bed in the skylight loft, which is included in the rental. Please note that this is an “outdoor experience”. You have to walk up an outdoor spiral staircase to get to the dome and the mountain air may be cold.

Perfect first stop

Great location with a very comfortable vibe. We felt relaxed and welcome immediately. Loved being able to meet and chat with Steve & Diane. The bed was especially comfortable and wonderful being able to sleep with the doors open (strong storm prevented us from being able to sleep in the bubble) but didn’t feel like we missed out on an experience as it was still such a quiet, calm, and special place.

Unique experience!

Loved our short stay here. We used the bubble house and it was super fun and a unique experience. We were greeted and given all kinds of great advice!

Bubble bed is special!

As other have said, the bubble with the bed is very cool and the pictures don't do it justice (I tried taking some and it just doesn't photograph well). The bed is very comfortable plus the temp is always comfy regardless of what's happening outside. We got lucky the first night and the stars were spectacular. We also didn't realize how comfy the rest of the house is - large living space downstairs, king bed and bath upstairs, and Steve and Diane provide all sorts of thoughtful touches. Would definitely recommend and stay at least two nights so you don't miss the stars on a cloudy night. Lots of nearby activities, so a great location as well.
