The Accommodation

Apartment located in an ancient tuna fishery, in a spectacular location on the beach of Porto Paglia, a few steps from the sea.

It is a complex dating back to the sixteenth century, they lived in a time of tuna fishermen and located directly on the beach. The village was restored in the 80s and still retains the ancient architecture wanted by Portuguese engineers that planned.

The apartment is on two levels, divided by a large loft.
On the ground floor: a bedroom with a queen, living room with sofa bed and kitchenette, bathroom with shower.
In the loft: a double bed.
The apartment has a small terrace at the entrance adjacent to other properties, with direct access to the beach and equipped with table and chairs, which offers a splendid view of the sea.

The District

The environment of Porto Paglia is unique for its beauty: apart from the village, you do not see a trace of sight of the human hand. A wonderful sea view that spreads to the charming cliff Sugar Loaf which rises a little further north.
The beach is beautiful and unspoilt, with golden sand which degrades very slowly, lapped by crystal clear water.

A place away from the busy city, lulled to sleep by the sound of the sea. But also a place to spend lazy days, reading, or where and practice various hobbies: fishing, snorkeling and windsurfing.

Although it seems to be in a paradise away from it all, the complex is in an optimal position a few kilometers you can find the most services.

Just 4 km away is the village of Gonnesa. There you can find various supermarkets, banks, post office, pharmacy, restaurants, the library.

At 12 km there Iglesias provincial capital of Sulcis Iglesiente with all the services of a town of 30 000 people.

The road SS 130 to get from Cagliari is about 50 km across the dual carriageway. The road from Iglesias in Porto Paglia is extremely convenient and straight, nothing compared with other coastal sardines.

Struttura porto paglia

La posizione della struttura è ottima con qualche disagio per la distanza dal parcheggio. L'appartamento è dotato di una buona ed attrezata cucina e di un letto matrimoniale nel soppalco molto buono. Ottime le zanzariere sulle aperture. Il resto dell'arredamento come tavoli sedie letti è tutto scadente, abbiamo dovuro mettere il materasso del divano letto per terra per riuscire a dormire. Un forte disagio per la mancanza dell'aria condizionata visti i 43 gradi. Manca l'acqua all'esterno della struttura necessaria per sciaquarsi dalla sabbia. Il terrazzino (con bella vista) è poco utilizzabile perché piccolo, male arredato, di giorno c'è il sole a picco ed è vietato utilizzare l'ombrellone, pertanto il pranzo si consuma in cucina al buio con le imposte sbarrate x il caldo. Di notte si dorme in mezzo alla corrente con le finestre e le imposte aperte compresa la porta di entrata. Detto questo i sardi, la spiaggia, il mare e la natura sono splendidi, pochi turisti, la domenica c'è il pieno dei residenti. È stata comunque una bella vacanza che ricordiamo con piacere

Super Lage, Wohnung ehr mau…

Die Ausstattung ist in die Jahre gekommen und im schlechten Zustand, Schlafcouch durchgelegen und verursacht Rückenschmerzen nach der ersten Nacht. Vermieter informiert fortlaufend über Zusatzkosten (2. Parkplatz, versäumte Müllentsorgung beim Auszug,etc.) Lage ist super

Traumhaft gelegene, leider abgewohnte Wohnung mit Mängeln aber mit viel Potenzial

Die Wohnung an sich hat wirklich Potenzial. Die Lage ist ein Traum. Keine 20m zum Meer. Der Strand selbst in der Hochsaison nie überfüllt. Wochenends, wenn die Insulaner zum Meer fahren kann es mal etwas voller werden. Aber alles entspannt. Die Wohnung an sich ist klein aber vom Grundriss her schön und für 4 Personen ausreichend. Allerdings definitiv nicht für 6 Personen wie in der Beschreibung aufgeführt. Die Terrasse ist klein und mehr als 4 Personen bekommt man da schon nicht wirklich unter. Leider hatte die Wohnung während unseres Aufenthalts mit einigen negativen Überraschungen aufzuwarten. Eines vorweg. Der Vermieter war sehr kooperativ, hat alles Anstandslos behoben und zahlte letztlich auch eine angemessene Kompensation. Folgende Mängel haben uns leider den Aufenthalt etwas vermiest: - Die Schlösser beider Eingangstüren waren defekt. Das Hauptschloss wurde nach 2 Tagen ausgetauscht, so dass wir wenigstens abschließen konnten. - Der Schlüssel zum Nebeneingang am Parkplatz funktionierte nicht. - Ein Ventilator fiel am ersten Tag sprichwörtlich auseinander. Am Folgetag wurde ein neues Gerät gestellt. - Am 4ten Tag ging die Toilettenspülung kaputt. Wir mussten 3 Tage mit einem Wassereimer spülen. - Auf dem Schlafsofa befand sich noch das benutzte Laken voller Haare des Vormieters. - Am 4ten Tag lösten sich die Scharniere eines Küchenschranks und die Tür fiel ab. - Die Sauberkeit der Wohnung bei Übergabe war allgemein unzureichend (verklebte Oberflächen in der Küche, Schimmel/Dreck in Dusche und Abfluß). Abschließend sei gesagt, dass diese Mängel alle recht schnell und mit wenigen Mitteln entweder bereits behoben wurden oder kurzfristig behoben werden können und auch sollten. Dann steht einem schönen Urlaub in diesem Appartement nichts im Wege. Mit einer kleinen Investition könnte diese Wohnung mit einer Klimaanlage und WLAN sogar noch deutlich aufgewertet werden.

situation exceptionnelle ... hébergement médiocre

L'appartement est situé dans un endroit exceptionnel : il fait partie d'un bâtiment ancien, en bord d'une longue et magnifique plage que l'on peut rejoindre en descendant quelques marches, ce qui permet d'en profiter tôt le matin et tard le soir. L'appartement est relativement grand, a été récemment repeint et équipé. Voilà pour le positif. Pour le reste, nous avons été assez déçu par le logement et l'accueil : à notre arrivée, les clés nous ont été remises mais aucune information ne nous a été donnée, ni le logement présenté. l'équipement de l'appartement laisse à désirer : les deux tables, intérieure et extérieure, étaient branlantes, celle extérieure était même inutilisable, la vaisselle était mal lavée (grasse) , il y avait des détritus dans les tiroirs , une poubelle n'avait pas été vidée ... les armoires étaient encombrées de linge, la literie de mauvaise qualité. Les éléments de cuisine, mal posés, fermaient mal. Il fallait ranger la nourriture dans une commode ... le robinet de la cuisine fuyait. la terrasse, minuscule et sans aucune intimité ne permet pas de séjourner dehors. La douchette extérieure qui dans les autres appartements permettait de se rincer les pieds après la plage était condamnée. Mais surtout surtout il a fait une chaleur intense ( proche de 40°c la journée, 30 la nuit), nous dormions en sous-pente et il n'y avait qu'un seul petit ventilateur pour tout l'appartement !! En partant, personne n'est venu récupérer les clés et nos impressions. En conclusion, logement très bien situé si on aime la baignade dans un coin de nature préservé, mais mal entretenu et trop cher - 900 euros la semaine - pour un service très médiocre.

Bellissima vacanza

La casa è ad un passo dalla spiaggia. Bisogna fare un piccolo tratto a piedi perché con la macchina, non si arriva fino all'ingresso, ma ne vale la pena. Il proprietario è sempre stato disponibile per ogni richiesta.
