We absolutely loved this place! Location was perfect, plenty of room for all of us. Best of all was the private rooftop patio! We will be back for sure.
This cute property is located just off Bourbon Street. Easy walking to everything but extremely noisy! Can sleep 8, but not enough chairs, table space, or coffee cups 😉 for that many people. Nice and clean- looks just like the pictures.
The house is clean, organized, and exactly as promised. It has that New Orleans charm with brick walls and even a spiral staircase to the upper room. Less than a block from Bourbon street but barely heard the noises. I would definitely stay here again!
Our stay was great. We could walk everywhere which was perfect for our group. We were really in the heart of things which is what we wanted that way we could get the complete NOLA experience. There was a little miscommunication with the hosts, but it was understandable and got cleared up immediately. An unexpected event happened to them and despite that they still worked hard to make our trip fabulous. The wifi was out, but I mean they tried to get it fixed before we got there. There was a delay with the company that was going to fix it, so it wasn’t something they could control. The elevator kind of freaked us out, so we didn’t use it and used the stairs instead. It was our choice to do that though. We definitely got our workout in by using them since the space is on the top floor of the building. Also, budget money to pay for parking each day. We didn’t realize we would have to… no big deal or anything, just a tip for people staying here in the future.
Perfect location in the middle of the quarter. Walking distance to everything. Long walk from elevator and only one way to get downstairs but otherwise great stay. Would rent again.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The property is clean, well decorated and spacious. Location is right off bourbon street and close to everything in the French Quarter. You can hear street noise, but that is expected considering the location. Mike the property manager was great. He met us at check in and did a walk through to make sure everything was satisfactory. He was very responsive to questions we had throughout our stay. We will definitely stay here again.
This property is a great location for everything in the French Quarter and easily accessible by car or lyft etc.
It is very roomy and with internet despite poor reception in the bedrooms. Main room is good. Very clean and plenty of space. Property Manager is great and very responsive to any needs that come up. Everything adds up to a great time.
We took an uber from the airport to our VRBO and then didn't get in a car again until we took an uber back to airport to go home. This location was perfect to walk everywhere. The space was nice. We wanted to be in the middle of the action and this condo was perfect for that!
We paid 3k for us to have broken beds, tvs, tables, blinds, and doors. We were never given access to the private balcony because he “forgot them” and then never came back with them. There were blood stains on the bed and couch, expired creamer, ice with mold in it, we even found a cockroach last night!
Definitely would have stayed at a hotel rather than that. Wouldn’t recommend!
Stayed with a few Co-Workers before our Annual Cruise. Very Clean and Comfortable Beds. Private Roof Top Access where you can just take in NOLA. Host was very accommodating and quick to respond. You are next to Bourbon. If you can’t sleep with noise than not for you. Otherwise it’s a must see and do. We will be back next year!
We loved if! Once I established connection with manager- it was seamless! (I had a lot of questions!!!). And he was overly kind!!!!!! The space is amazing- has a gorgeous rooftop! It’s a little convoluted to get to door- but, again, space is perfect! So thankful for this amazing spot- felt super safe as well! Thanks so much
The property is as pictured. The place itself is very cool and clean. Nice place for three couples to start out each day. Know what you’re getting into, it’s a fun city and this is close to the action. That’s part of the fun, so yes you might be able to hear some nightlife (especially from the master bedroom. We used a white noise app from that room and it was fine). It IS a little interesting getting to the street from the place, but again it was no big deal and part of the fun. Our host was on time and on point showing us how to get into the property and it was smooth sailing from there. The location can’t be beat. Reasonable walk all the way to Frenchman street (we are in our 50’s) for good music, bourbon is right there, but so is canal street for access to the trolly to go in all directions (city park, magazine street etc..). Enjoy!
This is a perfect place if you are looking to be in the middle of the French Quarter in walking distance to everything. But since you are right there you should expect it to be loud especially at night. If you are a light sleeper probably not the place for you.
Also, the actual place does not have direct access to the street level. You need to take an elevator and stairs to get to the place so for those who are less mobile or you have lots of luggage this may not be the place for you. We had a baby stroller and kept it in the lobby because it was too much to take it back and forth.
The best thing about this place is the property manager who is readily available and flexible. Mike contacted me even before we arrived to coordinate our arrival. He let us check in early and check out later so that we didn't have to keep our luggage with us.
This is not the place for everyone but if you are looking to be in the heart of the French Quarter with flexibility with checkin/checkout times this is the place for you.
There was more than enough space for the 8 ladies in our group. The master bedroom window is right along Bourbon Street, and it was Mardi Gras, so we did have a LOT of street noise, so bring your own earplugs - at least for the two staying in the Master.
The property manager greeted us, provided an extra air mattress so we didn't have to pull out the sofa bed each night, and gave us an incredibly easy check out process. We even had a private outdoor area!
1 block from Bourbon, 2 blocks from Canal and only 4 blocks from the parade route - incredibly important if you plan on catching a lot of throws and hauling them back to the room.
Kitchen was very functional and beds were comfortable. One bedroom is upstairs and bathrooms are downstairs. WiFi worked great. We never used the TV, so no thoughts on that. There were signs posted about short term rentals, but we were respectful going in & out of the building and had no issues at all.
There are two sets of elevators, one wasn't working at the time (building's fault, not owner or property manager) so be aware that if someone in your party cannot navigate stairs, this is not the unit for you. There are also two steps between kitchen and living room, so probably not the best unit if you have small children. The appliances we used worked great (washer/dryer/oven.) We loaded the dishwasher, but there was no soap, so we didn't run it. Ice maker came in very handy.
The first problem arose as soon as we got there. The elevator closest to our room immediately broke. We were given an alternate route to enter/exit right away, which included walking across the roof to the opposite side of the building. First impression was immediately tainted, as the hallways reeked of marijuana - not just one; every hallway we went down. The next thing you begin to notice are signs warning that short-term rentals are prohibited by law within the French Quarter, and that if you’re detected, you will be removed. This created a LOT of anxiety as I had already paid for lodging to accommodate my family for a long weekend and birthday celebration. We were not aware of this ban, and it certainly wasn’t mentioned in the VRBO listing. Overall, the apartment was clean, but we did have to get assistance for WiFi access, and the light fixture/fan in the upstairs bedroom was inoperable. I would also warn anyone planning to stay here that it is extremely LOUD. The level of street noise at night is truly unbelievable. Only one of the 3 bedrooms offers any protection from this. I have stayed in New Orleans (in the French Quarter) so many times I’ve lost count, but I have never experienced this level of noise - and it is all night long. There were several 5-star ratings of this property, and it makes me now wonder how legitimate they actually were. Worst stay I have ever had here. Cannot recommend (and it shouldn’t even be listed, apparently).
