About this property

The Birds Nest is a 2nd story loft guest house. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, it has a private entrance on the back facing cul de sac and its own yard/patio completely private from the rest of the property’s outdoor space. The Private coded entry will take you up 1 flight of stairs (please see pics if you need to know how many stairs) to the main living area.

The Birdsnest has:

* 2 small bedrooms each furnished with a Queen Bed.

* Living Room with couch, chair, Smart TV (with Prime, Disney+ and Access to your own apps), Electric Fireplace, Small dining area and well stocked books and games shelf.

* Small but well stocked kitchen that features: full sized fridge, stove/oven, kettle, coffee maker & reverse osmosis water faucet.

* The outside space features a small shaded patio with sitting space, Adirondack chairs to lounge, and a propane grill.

* We also have beach towels, a picnic blanket, picnic cooler/basket and beach chairs (2) for use while you’re in town for concerts in the park, the water park or beach.

* House is located approx 1.5 miles from Downtown Paso, with all its amazing dining and shopping options. Less than 1 mile in the other direction the start of Paso’s world class east side wineries, Vina Robles Amphitheater, Sensario Light Display, Hunter Ranch Golf course, the Ravine Water park and River Oaks Hot springs Spa. Approximately 5 min from the Paso Robles Horse Park ( across Hwy 46) and 10 minutes to Twin Rivers Horse Park (just take Union to River road)

*For those with electric vehicles, a Tesla charging station is located just ¼ mile from our home, across the highway in the Lowes Plaza. Enterprise rent-a-car is just a block over (and very easy walk) from the house as well if a rental is needed.

*Paso Robles Open Space is located just a block from the Birdsnest with miles of beautiful biking/walking trails through the oaks and seasonal ponds.

Bird's Nest Stay in Paso

We had a really nice stay at the Bird's Nest. The upstairs flat was very clean and nicely appointed. Full kitchen and lots of thoughtful extras made us feel very welcome. The slanted ceiling does take some getting used to--heads up (no pun intended ;). The neighborhood is quiet and close to everything. The fenced in front yard/patio area is a real bonus. We hung out one morning and played a little cornhole and drank our coffee before setting out for the day.Everything is very private and comfortable. We really liked the fireplace heater--it added a very cozy element to the sitting room/t.v. area. We would definitely stay again. Thank you Heather!

Excellent place to stay

Loved Heathers place. It was just perfect and had everything we needed or could ask for. Super clean and quiet. Heather is just a great host and a warm friendly lady. We so enjoyed meeting her. Highly recommend this place. Close enough to town and wineries yet in a quiet neighborhood

Nice place

Everything was as advertised. The beds were comfortable and it’s in a residential section of the city, which made it quiet, but close to a lot of things. My only negative was that the roof slopes a lot and I found myself ducking in some places. Overall would stay again.

Why they chose this property

Our Cottage is affordable, clean, and new. It's central to most of Paso's desired attractions but in a quiet neighborhood so you can relax and rest when you aren't out adventuring about....

What makes this property unique

Besides being located in a safe, quiet area of town where you have your own small yard to enjoy Paso's warm summer evenings BBQing and relaxing with beer or glass of wine, we also have a lovely open space just one block from our home. There are miles of walking/biking trails and a beautiful seasonal pond to enjoy on your stroll. We're also just a short 1/4 turn off HWY 46 for easy coming and going.
