The in-law suite is a new addition to a recently remodeled house in the Walltown section of Durham NC within walking distance to Duke University East Campus, North Carolina School of Science & Mathematics, 9th street restaurants and several grocery stores. You will have a private entrance and bathroom, a kitchen with all new appliances, and a washer & dryer! The living room has a trundle that can be used as a bed. Both the bed and the trundle are very comfortable!

Wonderful accommodation

My daughter stayed here for 3 months while working at Duke University Hospital. The accommodation was perfect and had everything she needed. Very close to grocery stores and restaurants. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet. John was super easy to work with. Highly recommend.

Semester at College

We rented this property for our daughter to wrap up her final semester at college. It was perfect for her and John was an excellent and gracious host. It had all the conveniences she needed; was close to campus; very clean and beautiful; and safe. Would highly recommend!

Just what we needed

We were visiting our new grandchild in winter and so we were only using this as a bedroom. It is an in-law apartment behind a house, and is quiet and private, in a pleasant suburban setting. John is just learning how to do this, and so procedures are very relaxed. We had difficulty getting in since he did not send instructions until we were on the plane. However it worked out.

When I first moved to Durham, I came here for a job and thought I would only be here for 12 to 18 months, that was back in 2014. Needless to say, I absolutely love Durham! There is just so much to do!! From the Durham Bulls baseball games to Broadway performances at DPAC. I've owned and managed rental properties for over 15 years and have been hosting guests through Home Sharing sites for over 3 years.
