About this property

This home is nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood located on Saucepan Creek. Our three bedroom, two bath home is everything you'll need for a quiet relaxing stay close to Ocean Isle Beach (5.6 miles) and Sunset Beach (7.6 miles). Pack your clubs as the home is close to numerous top rated Golf Courses. Relax on the back deck, swing in the hammock, bring your fishing poles to fish off the dock, explore in the creek with our four kayaks, or take a short drive to Ocean Isle or Sunset Beach. Whatever activity you choose to do, you are sure to have everything you need for a relaxing stay. The master bedroom is furnished with a king size bed. The master bath has a soaking tub, stand up shower and double vanity. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed and the third bedroom has two twin beds. The couch in the living room has a pull out bed with a double mattress. The living room and master bedroom both have flat screen TV's with ROKU and wireless access so you can connect to your favorite apps using your own password. The house has a washer and dryer, iron and ironing board, 12 cup drip coffee maker as well as a Keurig, toaster, and microwave oven in the kitchen. The kitchen has all essential items needed.
Linens and towels are provided for your convenience.
Because our home is located on a tidal creek, our dock does not accommodate boats. You will be able to see the Shallotte River and Intracoastal Waterway from the dock. The creek is not for swimming. Please be aware that the bottom of the creek is filled with oyster shells. We recommend shoes when kayaking.

Very nice house on a tidal creek a few minutes from Ocean Isle

Very comfortable house in Shalotte. Great backyard with a tree swing and a hammock and a very nice dock. The creek is tidal and the variation in water level is huge - great kayaking at high tide, barely passable at low tide. Overall, a great stay!

Perfect location

Quiet neighborhood with all the amenities. Located 10 min from the beach, and a quick 45 min drive from Myrtle Beach and Wilmington. We enjoyed using the fishing equipment provided, and the backyard to was peaceful with the hammock and back deck. A dollar general is within minutes Incase you forget anything!!

1st time staying on SaucePan Creek

My family and I had a great time staying at your home on SaucePan Creek. We love the OIB area but this was our first time on a creek and it did not disappoint. We found the home to be exactly as advertised, if not better. Everything in the home and yard was clean and well cared for. The neighborhood is so quiet and relaxing yet still only a few minutes to shops and beach. The yard was big enough for the kids to run and play and they especially enjoyed the tree swing and hammock. We also had a great time hanging out on the dock - fishing, crabbing, and watching the wildlife. The kayaks are an added bonus that we took advantage of and enjoyed cruising up and down the creek. Thank you for sharing your home - we will definitely be back!

Why they chose this property

Our home is quiet, clean and comfortable. It is perfect for families looking for a beach vacation home that is away from the crowds that the neighboring beach communities have to offer. From our home, you are just a short drive to the beach and local restaurants. While this is a three bedroom home and easily accommodates 6, you can use the pull out couch for additional sleeping.

What makes this property unique

Our home has a nice dock on Little Saucepan Creek that is ideal for fishing and watching the sunset. Saucepan Creek is a tidal creek off the Shallotte River and Intracoastal waterway. When the tide is out, some areas of the creek may only have a foot of water. For this reason, it does not accommodate a boat. We do have three kayaks that can be used in the creek at users own risk. We will not be responsible for any injuries that may occur while using the dock or kayaks.
