Restful sleeping is vitally important when park-hopping. Our beds are the most comfortable you can find. 2 California King bedroom suites (one of which is fully adjustable Sleep Number mattress) and 2 bedrooms with 2 win beds--all beds have added Memory Foam for your comfort.
We provide our guests with a special place to stay and tips, tricks, and suggestions to make your vacation even more magical.

TERMS:
1. Rental fee does not include 13.5% tax as required by the state and county.
2. Unlike most vacation homes who nickel and dime their guests, we have no additional or hidden charges:

3. Nightly Rate is based on a Saturday to Saturday rental--7 nights.
4. Florida law limits occupancy in this home to 10 people (including children).

6. Absolutely No Smoking and No Pets. We have some guests with allergies.
7. No motor homes , trailers, or commercial vehicles are allowed to park in Emerald Island Resort.
8. We do own this home—we are not a management company.

Perfect for our family!

We traveled with 4 adults and 2 kids (aged 3 & 5) in early February and had the best time. The home was well appointed and having 2 master suites was huge for us! Perfect size pool that was warm even on 55 degree evenings. Game room was great and proximity to Disney made our 2 park days easy. Wonderful access to any store you might need (Target, Walmart, Publix all within 10-15 min depending on traffic). Thank you!!

Family vacation

It was great for my older kids to relive some memories they had when we first visited Terry’s home back when they were little. Overall the stay was great. We had a couple hiccups at the beginning but they were resolved or we just let it go. The arcades in the game room are great but we couldn’t get them to work. Which was a bummer but the kids ended up making use of the racing one, pool table and the Wii. A couple of suggestions I would make are making sure the cleaning crew in cleaning under the sofa bed and under the beds. My kids wanted to sleep on the sofa bed but when we pulled it out it was dirty so they ended up sleeping on the carpet. We ended up losing a pair of sandals so we were looking under the beds and that’s when we found garbage and clothes under the beds. In my opinion having an air fryer would be great to cook small meals instead of turning on the oven for something small. A big skillet would also accommodate to a big family/ again this might just be me besuase my kids can eat 😬 other than that, we didn’t want to leave the house because it was so much fun! I think with some updates to the game room this home will be much better than what it is! Terry was very responsive, and I did message him quite a few times. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.

As retiring teachers, we purchased this property in beautiful Emerald Island Resort. As parents we visited DisneyWorld every 2 years with our 2 children, and we wanted to offer a great opportunity to others to enjoy our experiences. I wish vacation homes were as popular then as they are now!

Why they chose this property

Emerald Island Resort is central Florida's premier vacation home destinations. EIR is one of the safest and most guest-friendly resort communities in the area. This is a gated and guarded community with night patrols throughout the resort. Valet trash and recycle service, RF entrance cards, and enhanced security make EIR unique.

A noted travel website published an article that listed our GAME ROOM as "One of the Best 10 Vacation Home amenities in the US."

Since then, we have added more games. We decorated our walls with historical memorabilia of Walt and Mickey through the years. We planted a lot of tropical foliage around our pool and spa to make the area more private for our guests. Our beds are second to none. All have memory foam toppers to make the beds as comfortable as possible for our guests. One CalKing bed has a Comforaire adjustable mattress so guests can make their side of the bed as hard or soft as they want. We upgraded our kitchen with granite, top-of-the-line appliances, free Keurig coffee, and just about every kitchen accessory you could want.

1. Game Room-- published that our game room was one of ten top vacation home amenities in the US. Since that award, we have added a Simpson's Pinball and a Shuffle Alley. Our Arcade machine plays over 6000 games with over 200 light pistol games, our driving game races around Alcatraz, our Shuffle Alley is awesome, our Simpsons Pinball Party is great fun, our Wii has games for the entire family, and our Pop-a-Shot will make you feel like Lebron. ALL games are set to FREE PLAY.

13. We are with 3 miles of Disney's Animal Kingdom and just 4 miles from Disney's Main Gate.
14. Margaritaville Resort Orlando is just 3 minutes from Emerald Island's front gate. There you will find a high tech water park, a 12-screen state of the art theater, many restaurants, and shopping opportunities--all open to the public.
15. Emerald Island Resort has the distinction of being the most secure resort in the area. To further this security, EIR has implemented a guest fee of $20 per car to obtain a “Dolphin Pass.” The Dolphin Pass will allow much faster entry through the Dolphin Lane rather than having to check in with every entrance during your stay. The pass should be ready for you when you first arrive at the guard gate or clubhouse.
