Das Apartment war für den Preis okay. Es sollten unbedingt Reparaturarbeiten durchgeführt werden. In der Küche gibt es einen riesigen Topf, aber zum kochen zu groß 🤣🤣. Leider muss man nachts mit geschlossenen Fenster schlafen, da die Hunde rundherum ziemlich Lärm machen. Die Dorfbewohner sind toll, sie grüßen alle und sind freundlich.

Great stay next to Le Morne

We had a great stay at this property. The appartment is neat and clean. The furnishing is rather basic, but there is everything you need. Fridge, safe, WLAN for free, water kettle, ... The area is safe and apart from mainstreet noise. To have a great stay there, you need a car. Supermarket is in the same village, but still 2 km to walk. Beautiful Le Morne beaches are 10 km away. Trish and Kev always tried to fullfil our needs and requests.

Gepflegtes Apartment in La Gaulette, Top!

Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und sehr herzliche Vermieter. Die Wohnung entspricht absolut der Beschreibung - Panoramablick von der Dachterrasse, moderne Einrichtung. Der Kitespot Le Morne und der National Park sind mit dem Auto in 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Trisha vermittelt auch Ausflüge und Mietwagen. Perfekte Lage für einen preiswerten Aktivurlaub auf Mauritius.

Great stay at Trisha's and Kev's apartment

Trisha and Kev are really nice hosts! They care about their guests. The apartment is located at their home. So we could talk to them every day and we felt like at home. The apartment is very clean and offers everything you need. Just a few minutes drive to Kite surfing beach Le Morne, one of the best spots in the world! There are also some quite good adventures you can book through Trisha like swimming with dolphins. Great view from the roof terrace. We were very happy with our stay and we can absolutely recommend this location!

Why they chose this property

When we built this place we dreamed of creating a beautiful private space we would enjoy staying in ourselves...Kev is a native born Mauritian and myself (Trisha) am English. We frequently travel. We are a romantic couple and wanted to create potential for romance and intimacy in the outside and inside spaces. We poured our love for this beautiful environment into every nook and cranny and want to express love through this building to our guests.

What makes this property unique

Our place is the best possible location for those looking for daytime action. Close to the legendary Le Morne , a mecca for kite surfers and snorkeling with many species of fish and crystal turquoise waters. Close to endemic forests and wildlife Waterfalls and hiking trails.
This place is set in the heart of a sleepy authentic Mauritian village, all day long you will hear birds singing and the rustle of coconut trees in the wind then at night the village will spring to life. There are several churches on the street where worshipers sing enthusiastically and the preacher can be heard a mile away .Religion is enormously important to Mauritians and the all of the churches and temples are packed to the rafters. Cockerels crow , dogs bark, musicians get together and jam. Everyone will greet you as you stroll through the neighborhood.
