We came to the North Shore for a concert at the Lynn Memorial Auditorium, and needed a place to stay for 2 days afterwards. This Swampscott apartment was just a few minutes' drive from Lynn, tucked into a hillside with peeks of the Atlantic Ocean from its balcony and windows. The beach was a quick walk away. The apartment was beautifully appointed, cozy on a winter's night, and completely comfortable. The owner is responsive and so helpful. Loved every minute of this stay.
Came to see Salem but wanted to stay away from the city. Perfect spot! We could hear and see the ocean from the deck, and had some great meals at Dockside which we could walk to! The drive in to Salem was quick and easy.
Very nice and clean apartment with everything we needed for a short stay. Good location on a quiet street. The spacious deck with water views was a wonderful spot for an evening glass of wine or morning coffee. The stairs were a bit challenging, but overall we had a great stay at Ivan's place!
Meetings brought me to Lynn and I found a gem in Swampscott. Great little apartment in a really nice neighborhood right on the water. Highly recommend.
Easy to get to from Boston and easy to get to Salem. Swampscott is a nice little town.
View and ocean waves was relaxing:) I’m not sure I’d have more than 2 people. It was comfy for myself:)
We loved the location on the public stairway. Lovely neighborhood. Quick walk to restaurants and the beach.
We enjoyed the beautiful deck with a wonderful view.
Small cozy beachhouse, while not on the beach, just steps away. Also those steps lead to swampscotts bustlin resteruant lineup, breakfast, lunch and dinner you choose. Quick drive between both Boston and Salem too. My wife and I loved our stay.

My fiance and I stayed here for a weekend trip to celebrate our anniversary. This apartment has everything you could ask for. It was very clean and comfortable inside and the deck makes for a perfect spot for morning coffee or an evening meal. You can see the ocean from the deck! It's also walking distance from a bunch of restaurants and only a ~20 minute drive from Salem. We loved our stay here!
I really enjoyed my stay in this charming vacation rental . The location was perfect for visiting nearby family and friends as well as walking the beach. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, and the setting so very tranquil and relaxing and with beautiful view! Any questions or concerns I had were promptly answered and taken care of, which made for a stress free and most enjoyable vacation stay. Thank you Ivan!
Worked out to be a great place for me. Worked all night in Boston, then came back to a spotless, quiet place. Have to return to boston in a couple of weeks...unfortunately this place is unavailable.
This property was perfect for two people! It’s located right in between Salem, Ma and Boston, Ma., so it was great to be able to explore both in one trip. The property itself was very clean and Ivan was quick to respond to any communications we had. I would love to stay here again!
We had a fabulous time visiting. Location ideal. You could easily walk to town have some dinner. There was an event going on with live music. We could hear it from the deck, which was wonderful while watching the airplanes coming in and out of Boston and all of the boats and ships in the water as well right from the deck, lots of birds had a really great time. Highly recommend taking the ferry from Lynn over to Boston. That was very nice.
Cozy, one bedroom apartment on the ocean. My friends and I stayed here to visit Salem and it was very easy to get there every day via bus, commuter rail, or a cheap Uber/Lyft. Great amenities (stove, microwave, dishes, etc.). The bed and pullout couch were very comfortable. The TV in the bedroom is a smart TV and is able to connect to Netflix, Spotify, etc. The porch overlooking the beach was beautiful and had a small table to sit at. Great for relaxing on at night. The apartment was a tad damp, so there were a few spiders, but nothing really noticeable. Would stay again
Nice little hideaway a hop skip and a round about away from Boston
I am appreciative of the owners detailed description on how to find this property as I probably never would have found it otherwise.
It is tucked away on the hillside of a beautiful inlet on the coast. The view of the water and Boston skyline from our balconey/porch was amazing.
The setup was perfect for a couple, any more than 2 wouldn't fit well. Was kind of like a mother-in-law suite with a small stove, fridge, and sink. We used the fridge to stash "beverages" and snacks found on our adventure into Boston and Salem.
We were unable to catch any of the local food in Swampscott but acess to a lot of good restaurants within 15-20 minutes especially in and around Salem, ones in Boston were a bit farther past the airport.
Highly recomend for a weekend/week get away for a couple.
