About this property

The Dragonfly's Lake house sits on a lake front property, surrounded by nature.
Just minutes from Bobcaygeon & Buckhorn, trendy little towns with small boutiques & restaurants, or spend the day at the beach just a walk from our back door. A dock is provided for boaters and there is a boat launch available on the adjacent park.
You will be staying in our newly renovated bungalow which features 3 cozy carpeted bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, living room and den/exercise room. The master bedroom has a wonderful view of the lake; slip in to a luxurious pure latex custom made queen size bed & have the best sleep every night. Second bedroom also overlooks the lake, and includes a restful latex mattress. The third guest room is outfitted with a double-size bed, with calmed views of the seasonal nature surroundings.
Our kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook, comes with plenty of pots, pans and platters, serving utensils, grilling tools, full set of chef knives, 2 grill stove with oven, and dishwasher. We keep the fridge and pantry stocked with any condiment you need:

butter;
salt, pepper;
hot sauce;
BBQ sauce;
mustard;
ketchup,
mayo;
spices;
among others
Dining table for 6 + 2 eat in kitchen. Take pleasure in the stunning lake views from the living area through the large bay window. Warm up on those cold winter days with our cozy automated propane fireplace, along with a TV and gaming consoles for your enjoyment. Attached exercise room for the perfect workout, tv & stocked library.

The wrap around deck is equipped with a propane BBQ for those who enjoy outdoor cooking.

Additionally, this property has its own private dock which can accommodate 2 boats.
Our 4 season Lake house is great for groups of up to 8 people. Private, relaxing, romantic, and exciting! Enjoy splendid star watching and nature walks, great for fishing and water sports enthusiasts in spring and summer, portrait-worth nature displays of foliage in the fall, and gorgeous white winter surroundings, within close access to the local snow mobile trails (Make sure to hold the proper permit). We are sure you will enjoy your time at Dragon’s fly Lake House. We are looking forward to have you as a guest.

Summer home away from home!

We will continue to keep coming back to David and Ednas home on Pigeon Lake. David is quick to respond to any questions. The house is clean and the yard is large and well kept. We enjoyed the fire pit and swimming this year. Having a dock for the boat is also very convenient. Thank you again for our fantastic stay in Bobcaygeon.

Good for the Soul

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at David and Ednas cottage! We arrived to find so many supplies already provided for-condiments, napkins, paper towels etc. The kitchen was fully stocked with any necessary utensils. The beds were clean and very comfortable. The bathroom has been redone and had the best smelling soaps and shampoos. The fishing was fantastic! We caught 12 walleye and small mouth bass over the course of the week. David was quick to respond to any questions that we had. The waterfront is not good for swimming especially if you have children but the view from the deck was amazing! Overall we had a fantastic week! Thank you David and Edna!
