The main house has 4 bedrooms / 2.5 bath and is approximately 3,800 SQ FT. The boathouse has 2 bedrooms / 1 bath and is approximately 1,500 SQ FT. Bedrooms are lined with windows, offering views of passing lobster boats and schooners, changing tides with breathtaking sunsets. Everything you need for your stay is provided, including a fully equipped kitchen, luxury linens and towels, high-speed Wi-Fi, outdoor furniture and grill, cable, flat screen TV’s with Netflix built in for watching movies. The Lighthouse Lookout is setup to match the laid back relaxing vibe that Maine has to offer.
Rackliff Island is one of Maine’s most desirable Islands that’s car accessible. This house is the perfect home-away-from-home for an east coast vacation or family getaway. The private island combines tranquility and convenience at its finest. If you want to be steps from town but feel like your miles away, Lighthouse Lookout is your perfect vacation destination.
The lookout itself is located on a private road that’s great for walking, biking and jogging.
Conveniently located in the midcoast you are a day trip away from Acadia National Park or enjoying the history and cultural amenities of nearby towns. If you are planning on staying with us in August, Rockland’s annual Lobster Festival is a must! With great food and live music, it should be on every guests to do list.
A boater’s paradise if you have a boat...bring it along! There is a mooring in front of the house which will accommodate a 32-foot boat. Rackliff Island is a Boater’s paradise, with wonderful destinations close by!
