Very nice but needed attention/communication.
Nice place and we enjoyed ourselves. We stayed two weeks. Clean. Yet there were many issues.
**Never could get the TV to work as promised and complaint not fixed as promised or followed up on. (I think the cable bill was not paid). So only Netflix, Bloomberg and three French language channels. Not the 100 outlined in the guide.
**Freezer frozen solid (team fixed that)
** Hot water was totally insufficient to take a tub bath. So beautiful tub useless. Showers only.
**Key ceiling light over closet burned out. Annoying but liveable.
**Asked for a safe to lock valuables. The one in the apt was locked. New safe was delivered but not bolted in place so useless.
Overall, the responsiveness of the team was only fair. Phone number provided on “welcome card” did not work. Had to use reservation number to make any contact. Especially annoying since entry gate malfunctioned and I was locked out one night. There was never one consistent contact for Sweet Inn during the entire stay. And someone needed to walk the place in advance to evaluate and fix all the issues. Place had not been well prepared or maintained.
VRBO listed smoke detectors but none were present. That is completely unacceptable.
For a two week stay, we should have been met at the property at some point to establish some customer care. 3 stars.
