Appartement Place de Clichy

Logement très bien situé avec ascenseur privatif, à quelques mètres de la place de Clichy. Service de nettoyage très satisfaisant. Idéal pour un couple seul car le matelas du canapé convertible est hors d'usage. Appartement très mal isolé donnant directement sous les toits et nécessitant un sérieux rafraichissement ! Dommage au vu du fort potentiel.

Very comfy, but....

The area was great, close to all restaurants and subway. The apartment was very comfy. I had to send an email just to get the elevator code The washing machine did not work, the fans barely blew out any air, so it was hot, the ceiling window outside the apartment door was left opened and there was a rain storm making a waterfall right outside the apartment entrance and sending water all the way down to the main floor. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable to sleep in, makes too much rattling noise from the frame.

Understand what you’re getting.

My review is mixed. Even though the location was close to restaurants, entertainment, and the subway I was very disappointed in the fact that this was a top floor unit with very little means of circulating air when it was extremely hot. The fans that we were given were worthless. We did not sleep much because it was too hot. Then there was the situation with the noise. There were people at restaurants until two and 3 o’clock in the morning. Then when that didn’t happen, there was constant traffic on the street. I would not stay here again, due to those factors!

Perfection

This flat is absolutely perfect. It's all about the location! Place de Clichy is a major thoroughfare so it's very convenient and busy (but the apt itself is on a side street and very quiet). There are lots of shops, restaurants, bars and attractions close by. The bus and metro to other parts of the city are literally steps away from the flat. Moulin Rouge is walking distance away. An AMAZING boulangerie is at the end of the block, perfect for baguettes and croissants. Try Le Petit Poucet at the other end of the block for great drinks and food. The flat itself is great, very clean and spacious. The room was ready early so I was able to get in right after I got in. Check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. There was a minor problem with a sink but mgmt responded very quickly. I highly recommend!
