Sporting new renovations to the bathrooms' flooring and baseboards, a recent tune-up to all the major appliances, and a new water heater, you'll have the stay you've always dreamed of. Open and light, this home boasts a great working kitchen, an inviting living room, hardwood floors, and many fine amenities including a wood-burning fireplace and an outdoor firepit offering a sneak peek at the Pacific Ocean. Test out the new grill by searing your dinner to perfection and lounge in the new patio chairs as you indulge in the comforts and culinary delights you came to experience in the great Pacific Northwest. For fun, bring the group to the separate, shared game room with hockey, Ping-Pong, and foosball above the barn next to the animal farm yard. Speaking of which, you'll also be sharing the property with a host of resident farm animals that you can see and interact with!

Less than a mile north of this rental you'll find Patricks Point State Park. Hike the breathtaking Rim Trail overlooking the rocky coast or walk down the steps to Agate Beach and hunt for treasures and agates! You are also just four miles from the village of Trinidad as well as Big Lagoon County Park, an eight-mile estuary nestled on the coast. And just 22 miles north, find yourself in Prairie Creek Redwoods National Park, home to some of the largest trees in the world!

To accommodate up to 12 guests, this home may also be rented with Seawoods Cottage which is also located on the property.

Clean, comfortable, spacious and convenient

The farmhouse was much more space than needed for just my wife and me, but the proximity to Sue meg state park was a key reason we booked it. The home was clean and comfortable and very well equipped with everything we needed. We cook our own meals when renting and this house had everything we needed. The wood burning fireplace was a huge plus that we enjoyed nightly, although you will need firestarters as there was no kindling. The grounds were beautiful and event though we did not use the game room, it would a nice touch for families with children. Given it was November, we did not sit out much, but I imagine the gardens are beautiful in the spring and summer. All in all this is a great place for a large group and we would definitely consider renting again, but bringing more of our family.

Gorgeous area, comfy home

The setting/location was super! There was plenty of room for us though the bunk bed room was pretty small. Beds & sofas were comfortable & everything was very clean. Overall we felt right at home.

Sweet house, Great stay, Fantastic customer service

Seriously sweet and quiet place. When we arrived it was late and dark. Unfortunately, the motion lights didn't come on, and we had trouble finding the "front" door (which is towards the back of the house, and not the very first door you encounter - that is the garage door and it didn't respond to the key code). So we couldn't get in and didn't understand why. It was just me and my daughter: two women in the dark who were starting to feel scared. I called Vacasa, and initially got a person who tried to help, but was not able to get us in. He said someone would call me back. I figured it woud be a while, but the customer service rep called back really quickly. He apologized for the lights being out, and stayed with me on the phone until we were in. He even encouraged me to turn on the heat, which in my semi-panicked state, I needed to hear. He also told me where a lantern was located in the house to help with light for unloading. The house has got to be the old farmhouse on the property, so it definetly has rustic charm. However, there is a jacuzzi/bathtub in the main bathroom that doesn't seem to be mentioned. It is very quiet and serene - just what we needed. And the kitchen comes stalked with some interesting items. Beyond the regular pots, pans, dishes, coffee maker, and microwave was a blender, food processor, 4-slice toaster, and even an ice cream maker! The salad spinner was remarkable. There is a big pull-out cutting board under the counter. The only thing I could have thrown in would be a rolling pin. Plenty of nice, thick blankets are tucked away all over the house. And the bedrooms are super cute - feels princess-like. Honorable mention - the fireplace kicks butt. It has a metal grate above the hearth the radiates heat really well and for a long time. I was very impressed at how much heat we got out of it. Highly recommended.

Excellent Stay

My family and I recently stayed at this property for our yearly vacation. The house is close to beaches, state parks, and other things to do. You are far enough from the city but close enough for store runs for anything you need. This is a great property and we look forward to staying again in the future.

Beautiful Place to stay

We loved our stay at the delightful Seawoods Farmhouse. The grounds are utterly amazing complete with an awesome fire pit area for smores with the kiddos and an abundance of beautiful coastal plants and flowers everywhere. The house was comfortable and spotless upon arrival. The home sleeps a lot of people and is well stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay at the Seawoods Farmhouse and don't forget to bring some carrots for the kids to feed the miniature donkey's and goats nearby.
