Why Nicole Huyghe chose Koksijde-Bad

A few years ago, we were walking in the area of Koksijde. We so much enjoyed the area, that we started looking for a place to buy, so we could enjoy it more often. Our criteria were: lots of windows so the sun would enter the apartment at different times of the day, a terrace, in a quiet neighbourhood (so not at the beach where it can be busy), not in a typical block of apartments (our apartment is in a house with only 3 units), and the possibility to design it to our wishes. The results was an apartment, part of a house, built around 1960. We loved it straightaway. It did need some work though. We stripped it down to the bare minimum and started again with new flooring, new kitchen, bathroom, ... The result is the White Butterfly of which we are very proud. We call it "our litte hotel".

What makes this Apartment unique

So full of light, so peaceful, so close to the dunes, so nicely decorated (we very much love our vintage wallpaper and special clock) and located in such a lovely charming area of Koksijde
