Central quiet locarion
The property was comfortable, clean and quiet. It is bright, cheerful and as shown in the pictures. We were met on time to receive the keys and instructions. The lady who met us (sorry forgot her name) was so friendly and informative about Madrid. We were able to walk everywhere. Beautiful city and good accommodations. Begona responded immediately and we did not have any problems before, during or after our stay.

Great location but bad management and communication
This place is in good location but with bad management. First at all, at the first day of arrival, this place didn't provide any of the toilet paper. When communicating with the owner, the owner kept saying there should be but actually none of the two toilets provided any toilet paper. The owner even asked us if we can just use the kitchen paper to work on it. It is totally unacceptable. The owner also say there is a locked closet with lots of kitchen and toilet supplies, but when we told the owner that the locked closet was actually not locked and there is no toilet paper, the owner became angry on us saying the closet supposed to be locked. So, we have asked the owner to check with his cleaning person to confirm. Afterward, the toilet paper was provided on the second day because the owner was not living close by and won't be able to provide the toilet paper at the same day. This is just a beginning of the argument. The first night in this apartment house was so cool, most of my family members felt uncomfortable in this place due to lack of heating at midnight. So, we managed to keep us warm at night. Furthermore, at the last day of stay in this place, as usual, we cleaned up the place, washed all the dishes, glasses, collect all the garbage in the garage bags. Since we were not informed where to dispose of recyclables, we left them neatly next to the garbage bin. After left the place taking the flight to Nice, I was informed by the owner saying we have messed up the place, leaving dirty dishes, furniture moved, and pillows on the ground. I told the owner that we have clean up the place before we leave the place as usual and don't believe what the owner said. The owner insist that we have messed up with his place and charged me extra for the cleaning fee. I have asked the owner if they saw the “mess” personally or if there were any photos of the “mess”. As I indicated earlier in this review, at the first day of arrival, we have encountered the toilet paper problem. Now the owner accused us for messing up his place which is totally unacceptable. I would take this chance to complain to VRBO for the bad management of this place and warn the others be careful about this type of place. I tried communicating with the owner but after a couple of emails, they stopped replying and left us an incorrect review.
I am very sorry for this unpleasant situation that has been caused mainly by the mistake of the cleaning staff not to put toilet paper, it was solved the next morning, and I apologized repeatedly.
The apartment has central heating that switch off at 12 o'clock at night, but you had an additional heat pump and extra blankets on all the beds to avoid the possible temperature drop of which we have never had a complaint, vice versa, it is a very sunny and warm apartment.
When you arrived I indicated where the garbage bags where throw it (it´s mandatory to throw the garbage where it corresponding) and you left them piled up, I do not know if it was a language problem, which could be ...
In 5 years that I have been renting my house, my partner had never complained about the state in which the clients had left the apartment. But, in your case you left papers and purchase tags on the floor, pots without scrubbing stacked in the kitchen, cushions and pillows on the floor, lamps over the floor, …; in a shameful state, and I did not give it to you like that, right?
I imagine that your anger has been to ask for an extra cleaning, which in the end I have not charged, but I should not allow this type of behavior and your opinion, which you know is not true either.

Clean, amazing location, great host
I throughly enjoyed staying here, it's a nice clean modern apartment with 2 full bathrooms. The host are very helpful in ensuring you are well settled in Madrid. I would definetly stay here again on my next trip to Madrid.
