Fabulous weekend break with the whole family!
What a fab break in Stratford Upon Avon. The owner Natasha was incredibly helpful and communicative in letting us know that a big festival was happening at the weekend, giving us alternate directions in advance to avoid the queues on our arrival to the town. The welcome drinks waiting in the fridge were a lovely touch too and much needed!
The house is well laid out with amazing bathrooms in most of the bedrooms (it is incredible how they have managed to fit so much into the house without feeling cramped) and the hot tub was a total hit! In all a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it to other people looking for a large place to stay with family or friends.
Happy with everything, had a group of 16 people in and was plenty of room for all. Enjoyed the hot tub. Good location on the edge of town. Tasha was very helpful and flexible in regards to early check in and parking times outside of stay times. Welcome pack was appreciated. Would go again with a big group
We had an excellent time
Fabulous for large groups
Very spacious property. Layout is good and accommodates large groups easily as the kitchen links nicely into the dining conservatory space. All bedrooms have en suite facilities which is very useful too.
Being situated so close to Stratford Centre means use of a car is not essential but car parking for up to 6 cars is a huge bonus.
Definitely would come back - the owner is both friendly and helpful. As the property is in a residential area expectations about noise are made clear to avoid any misunderstandings over use of the hot tub.
Lovely big house, perfect for group gatherings
We had a lovely weekend in the house. Plenty big enough for 10 adults and 5 children (all under 5).
Well equipped and clean
Good House central for Stratford upon Avon sites.
Good bedrooms all with shower and loo etc. Large well equipped kitchen and lounge to seat 12 plus. Dinning room in a extension that did not have sufficient heating so was a bit cold no good in the winter. The main down side was that the house needs some routine maintenance and a deep clean. Good off street parking for 6 cars plus.
I'm sorry I didn't get to meet you myself, but Tasha says you had an enjoyable time. I take on board your comments, Paul, with regards to the dining area and we've put the extra heater in there now that temperatures have dropped a little. I also agree that some touching up of paint in some areas is needed and we are busy now doing just that. The scuffed wallpaper up the stairs was stripped last night and Tasha is excited about her plans for a new looking hallway.
I hope you and your family have a lovely Christmas. Best regards
Stratford-upon-Avon is world renowned for being the birthplace of William Shakespeare. Locally there are 5 properties to visit connected with his own birth and that of family members. A must see is one of his plays at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre . Failing that the riverside setting of Stratford is immensely attractive and simply strolling by the river or hiring a rowing boat is tremendously popular.
We are also spoilt by an incredible choice of fabulous restaurants and pubs offering a wide range of food and drink.
Nearby are the towns of Warwick and Kenilworth each with an impressive castle and the village of Mickleton with the outstanding gardens of Hidcote Manor.
Within 30 minutes drive you can also find yourself in the Cotswolds where the villages of Broadway, Stow on the Wold, Bourton on the Water and Chipping Campden represent just a handful of the prettiest villages in England.
