Cypress Villa

Our bright and sunny west coast home sits on Mt. Holmes, towering above the quaint town of Youbou and overlooking the beautiful Cowichan Lake and southern mountains.

The home has a large, open plan living area and huge wrap around deck to enjoy BBQs and relaxation in your private pool and hot tub.

There are views of Cowichan Lake, forest and mountains from each room. You can find french doors leading from each bedroom and dining/kitchen onto the deck with access to the pool, hot tub and BBQ.

Our villa style home has a huge deck; perfect for entertaining. The kitchen is also very large and has a double wall oven and a large, commercial style fridge with double doors.

You will find a rustic pool bar with a small fridge so you can make your drinks pool-side, as well as a full size ping pong table in the garage!

The property is not fully fenced, but there is a small fenced area for your furry friends to relieve themselves which is accessible from beside the pool deck.

The home is wheelchair accessible with a spacious kitchen and bathroom.

There is parking for up to 6 cars in front of the house, and a small boat. Please inform us in advance if you will be bringing any boats.

For bookings of five people or less, you will have access to the upper suite of the home which has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and large open plan living area/kitchen. There is access to the deck from every room with access to your private hot tub and large pool area.

For bookings of six people or more, you will also have access to the downstairs suite which has two more bedrooms, one bathroom and another open living area with kitchen.

Note that if you want the downstairs suite made available and you have less than six, you may book for six people which will incorporate the extra fee.

Washer and dryer available upon request when booking for 6+ guests.

Pool open from April - September. Outdoor furniture and BBQ for use year round - weather permitting.

The Cowichan Valley ("the warm land") can be hot during summer, perfect for relaxing in the pool or the lake. There are ceiling fans in each room and in the winter, there is an open fire for use which you will need to bring your own fire wood.

Cell reception can be patchy in our home. Most modern smartphones have "wifi calling" feature which will enable your phone to make and receive phone calls and texts as normal, when connected to wifi.
