Lovely Stay In Seaside

We really enjoyed our stay here, the space is small but met all of our needs. The location is perfect, so close to the beach and boardwalk. We loved walking to Bella’s Bagels for coffee in the morning! We did have an issue with sleeping because the air conditioning unit outside shared a wall with the bed and made a loud noise throughout the night.

When I arrived, I still had not received the entry code. I messaged and phoned the owner and rang the Ring doorbell. At least 15 minutes went by with no response. I called VRBO and the person was gracious and helpful. As he was trying to get a hold of the owner, the owner messaged me with the code. I hung with VRBO, tried the code and it did not work. Then the out of town property manager called me. I explained the situation and she tried to get a hold of the custodian. He called me and seemed a bit annoyed because as he told me, he was there earlier and it worked fine. He tries to walk me through it like it was my fault when we find out the wrong code was given to me. All told, it probably took 45 minutes to get in. And once inside, the mattress had hair and crumbs on it. Would not use this place again.

Real Review

1st, i walked into what appeared to not be the room I booked, because what was pictured ,was not the place I rented, 2nd the place stated it was for 4 people , more accurately it should be detailed for 3 adults , or 2 small children 3rd ,Luckily I brought an inflately bed,( im glad it was a Twin size cause it would on never fit in this place) because the bottom of the fold down 3/4 couch was broke, caved in in bottom more like it, which I messaged the host about 4th, not in any order. The place was filthy, the air vents were covered in dust, the tip of the fridge had dust all over it, the cabinets were not wiped out,they had dirt in them, the oven was utterly disgusting ,looked like it was never cleaned, all the furniture was old, scraped up ,looked second hand tag sale stuff, the corners and edges of counter linoleum was peeling off, the bathroom shower door was broken , again message the hosts, he said his handy man was on the hunt for one and not successful, (( it only needs a new wheel on top to stay on the track )) the window had so much crud on them amd so filthy it was like looking through stained glass frosted window..and for 242 a night you sont even get cable TV.!! 4a. I was told not to park in the driveway because this is where tje bbq grills were and to park on the street, well, for the 3 out of 3 night I was there, the other guest parked in the driveway. So much for having a bbq outside.. This is In my personal opinion and I think this place needs a totally new rentavation , from top to bottom. The unit I stayed in was unit A, I cant speak for the other units.. On a positive side the only two good thing I've found there were tje location of the place being two short blocks from beach,close to main boardwalk and at least we had air conditioning!!! I personally think the hist may be being taken advantage of and paying for maintenance and cleaning services tjat are not being done properly ,maybe check the property ,as to know what your renting out to people, cause it looks like it's not taken care of At All ,
