Need a place to stay on scenic Tybee Island? Look no further – You have found the perfect place right here in Sand Dollar hosted by Tybee by the Sea - owned and operated by a family based locally here in Georgia! Centrally located between Savannah and the Tybee Island Pier it is the perfect home base for your vacation or small getaway.

Tybee Island's Pier is an amazing lookout over the North Atlantic ocean and there are so many cute shops, eateries, and bars on your way. It seems that no matter how often you find yourself on Tybee Island there's more to explore. Up and down the North side of the Island where we are located is nothing less than picturesque. And there is Savannah just over the bridge: historic, scenic, and full of culture. Museums, eats, and trees older than you are just some of the attractions. Visit Savannah's famous cobblestone River St and take in the site of the waterway mere feet away.

This condo is best suited for a couple, a couple and their child/ren (not babies, sorry), or three or four close friends. The bedroom contains a King bed and TV and the living room has a new full pull-out sofa and smart TV.

There is one bathroom and a balcony for some breathing space. The balcony has a view of the pool + ocean beyond it ... and a wide open view of the night sky. With next to no light pollution this makes for a relaxing stargazing perch. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, and utensils or there are any number of restaurants just a drive away. Remember! The island is pay to park year round – so make sure to bring change (some meters take cards, some don’t) or some alternate means of travel include: taxi, renting a golf cart, or renting bicycles from some local companies (See your guest book after booking for more information).

For easy and secure check-in we provide self check with a lockbox and smart lock -- all information provided at time of booking.

Very disappointed!!

Buildings/units aren't labeled on the outside, so hard to find which one we were in. No washer/dryer in unit! We had to pay to use the public one. NOT on the beach, had to walk the street, down a trail to get to the beach. The pic on site is just a bridge, no access to beach!Asked owner if they had beach chairs, never heard back so dragged them along for nothing since they had 2! Only 1 parking pass and apparently NO WAY to get another one, even though there was plenty of parking spaces! Ran out of toilet paper! Way too many rules apparently when leaving, we were billed another $50!! We were very disappointed!

Great, quiet condo with secluded beach!!

We loved staying here! The condo was super nice and clean. This was our first time staying on the north end after 20 something years of coming to Tybee and we were very pleased. It was nice and quiet and there's a private boardwalk to the beach area. We liked that the beach was kinda in a cove so you could sit in the water and not get beat by big waves constantly. And the beach area was quiet and not crowded at all! We also saw dolphins everyday and watched the cargo ships go in and out of port. A different experience from the south end, but we loved it! Would definitely recommend 100%!!

Loved this place!! The beach was very sucluded and got to see dophlins every day!! Walking distance from Huc-a-poos and they had great food!

I'm Kristina. My husband & I manage 2 properties on the North Beach of Tybee Island for my mother in law. We love reading in the guest book what people did & what they found joy in. This is our favorite place to be... relaxing times on Tybee.

Why they chose this property

This location is ideal to enjoy the most relaxed side of the island. If you want a bit more action, "the strip" down at the pier is as close as you would want it. Our favorite pizza in the state of GA (Huc-A-Poos) is only a short walk around the block. The passing ships, Dolphin watching, fishing, & beach-walking make this our own little slice of peace. We really enjoy hearing from those we share this special place with.
