About Ellen & Richard McBride
We have been enjoying our condo for many years and manage to keep it up to date. Coming from the East coast we appreciate Park City's snow and our wonderful location.
Why Ellen & Richard McBride chose Old Town
LOCATION. We love deciding to ski and riding the lift up fifteen minutes later. Our kids and now our grandchildren enjoy it as well.
What makes this Condo unique
Our off street quiet location,, heated pool and hot tub just steps away and newer amenities like flat screen tv and wifi add to the fun.
100% refund if cancelled at least 60 days before arrival date.
Great place, walkable to ski resort!
Our group had an amazing stay here! Walkable to the ski resort, Main Street, and was right beside the bus stop if walking was not possible. It was clean, a great size, and the best location! We all agreed that if we made a trip back to Park City we would love to stay here again!
Thank you very much for your review. We are so glad that you enjoyed it and would welcome you again anytime.

Great spot to take advantage of all of Park City and surrounding areas
This condo is perfect for a group of 2-4 who intends to ski hard and take advantage of everything Park City and the surrounding area has to offer. It is located across the street from the base of the Park City Ski Resort, so we simply walked across the street to ski Park City. On Saturday we drove out to Snowbird, which took less than an hour and on Sunday we skied Deer Valley, which is just up the road with a huge parking lot available. We took advantage of the hot tub and pool, which are open from 4PM-10PM in the winter. We cooked breakfast in the condo each day, packed sandwiches for the slopes for lunch, and ate dinner out each night on Main Street in Park City. It is a 15-20 minute walk to Main Street or (once we figured it out) an easy free bus ride.
My only caution would be for a group who intends to spend more time in the condo. It is quite dated with a small kitchen. It has a very small TV (no HD) in the living room and an old tube TV in one bedroom.
Thank you, Jonathan. Glad you enjoyed it.
Our kitchen is a galley kitchen with a breakfast bar as viewed in the photos. It has a dishwasher, microwave, stainless steel refrigerator and up to date glass topped stove/oven.
TV's are also visible in the photos . This has has never been a priority for us but we are glad for the input.
Sorry it took a while to figure out the free buses which stop just in front of the building ( It is in the instructions).
Edelweiss house early season
Nice place, nice location, great price for early season. Had all amenities necessary for our stay.
Thank you for taking time to review our condo. We are happy that it met your expectations.
Owners prompt to return contact
Much more than 200 yards, more like 350 or 400 yards to nearest ski lift. Owners were prompt in answering questions. Room was clean. One bedroom very cold. Ski storage room very handy, was helpful to drop equipment there so you didn't have to bring it up and down the three flights of stairs.
Glad that you basically had a good stay.
The heat for the second bedroom is controlled with the thermostat in the living room and therefore can be cold especially if you have used the gas fireplace. We supply an electric heater in order to help with this.
Our other bedroom has its own thermostat and therefore is easier to control.
While I agree that the ski room is the way to go, we are really only up one flight when the office is open.
my family and I have a wonderful experience staying at this property over Christmas holiday. Walk over to Park City ski resort, close to most amenities.
Thank you so much, Quynh. We are very happy that you enjoyed your stay. We hope that you and your family return again soon.
The property is older but pretty well maintained.
I was at the condo August 1 - Nov 19, 2016. The owner is very helpful if problems occur. There is no elevator and, since the unit is on the third floor, moving in and out, groceries etc. can be challenging. Also there's no air conditioning. There are two sliding patio doors which face to the east and the breeze helps keep the condo fairly comfortable in hot weather. The seasons changed during my stay and the weather became cooler. The fireplace provided a nice ambiance and helped warm the living area. Thermostats are preset but you can give the temp setting a temporary bump up if needed.
Overall I enjoyed my stay. The walk downtown is short and easy or you can catch the free bus which stops out front.
Thank you Marilyn. Unfortunately you failed to note that there was no air conditioning . There are usually only a few days that it is needed in the mountains.
When our office is open the condo is only up one set of stairs in our staggered building.
I offered to speak with you prior to rental but you declined and therefore did not get the information you needed.
I am very glad that you ended up enjoying your stay. While the condo is not new it is kept up to date.
