Resort has water park with lazy river and slides appropriate for teens and young children. There are 14 pools with kiddie pools and hot tubs. Water park and 2 pools have bars. Complimentary amenities include: Disney movies/theater (multiple times daily), fitness center, mini-golf, paddle boats and basketball and tennis courts. Complimentary rentals include: bikes/helmets, games, books and sports equipment. Resort has restaurant/sports bar, pizza shop, coffee shop, ice cream shop, small store, arcade and pool tables. Limited shuttle service to select parks daily.
A new Walmart is directly across from resort entrance. Many restaurants, gas, souvenir shops and shopping within a mile of resort.
All Disney properties are easily reached without using I-4 to avoid traffic delays. Resort is 3.3 miles from Disney Animal Kingdom and 8 miles from Magic Kingdom. Nightly Disney fireworks can be viewed from the resort.
Resort is 11 miles from Sea World, 19 miles from Universal Studios and 24 miles from Orlando International Airport (MCO).
