Short Get Away
We enjoyed the house. The pool was lovely. Furnishings were all good
We had some trouble with the air conditioning. The A/C would not come on very efficiently We had to readjust the temperature .
We enjoyed relaxing in the private pool. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant.
The location of this property is perfect. It is 1/4 mile from WalMart and many other restaurants and businesses.
There is a neighbor only on one side so there is a lot of green space for families with children. There is also a tennis court behind the property.
Also, there is a lake and park area a short walk inside the gated community with playground equipment and a small beach. Many Egrets are in a Island of bushes in the middle of the lake. It is interesting to watch them.
Disney is very close to this area.

This was a last minute trip to get away from Snow. We were lucky to find a property at the last minute. We were able to get in early at 3pm we arrived at 3:10 and the cleaners were just starting and did a very rushed job even though we told them to take their time we just wanted to take luggage out of the Van and we would come back they were gone in 30 min and told us Ken never told them we were arriving early they said we weren't supposed to get there until the next day.
The Pool heat wasn't on and Ken refunded our Money for pool heat not being able to use the pool. Many lights didn't work and some bulbs were out. one burner on the stove didn't work. I contacted Ken almost daily and let him know that the up keep wasn't up to par as he told me that he was going to use the house in April. Carpets and Furniture were not clean and need to be updated. the mattress in the master needs to be replaced.
Ken thanked me for all the updates and told me that he would refund our money and he did. He said he would take care of all the issues and I trust he will.
Marvin was actually very understanding of the problem. He was a last minute rental. I notified the cleaners by email and did not confirm this last minute cleaning. Unfortunately, the cleaners missed my email and were at the home starting a routine cleaning when Marvin arrived. The cleaners did what they could quickly and left. This was an unfortunate error AND I APOLOGIZED AND REFUNDED ALL RENT AND FEES TO MARVIN AS HE SAID. The lights and burner have been fixed and the home had a deep clean. I also learned a lesson: For last minute rentals, I will email AND CALL to verify the house cleaning is scheduled! This will never happen again. This is our vacation home and we are proud of it. Ken
