Adorable place full of character in a quiet, picturesque courtyard.

Antonella let us check in early which was super helpful because we were jet legged from taking a red eye. She also presented us with a hand made gift upon arrival which was just such a sweet gesture! The place is full of charm and character, overlooking the Rome’s rooftops, within walking distance to everything yet in a quiet picturesque side street. Antonella also let us check out late which was also a huge plus.

Good location, untrustworthy hostess

I enjoyed a week-Long stay at Antonella’s apt which is old (some kitchen plumbing issues), but at a good central location. However, I have been left a bad taste in my mouth by the hostess who, upon my arrival, demanded an ad hoc payment for a city tax which was listed neither in her property listing nor in the booking confirmation which showed I had already paid in full. During the back and forth dispute via Homeaway customer service, she wrongfully withheld the amount from my refundable damage deposit. Of note, the apt is on the 5th floor of a (steep) walk up and there’s a fish market in the ground floor that shares the courtyard so the fishy smell was palpable even in the midst of December which may be an issue for folks who are sensitive to smell. Surely it didn’t bother us as much as the shady dealings which I continue to suffer consequences from.

Excellent place right in the heart of Rome

There is no better location - you can easily walk to all the major sights. The apartment is private, as quiet as you can expect in the centro storico, comfortable and has all the amenities. Highly rated restaurants right at your door. It also comes with a number of steps to climb... be aware of that. Antonella was very helpful - thank you.

Loved the apartment and the location!!

The apartment had everything we could have wanted. Great location - we loved the restaurants right outside the door and of course Giolitti’s around the corner. This was a lovely place to spend a week in Rome. Antonella gave some great recommendations and provided helpful information. Thank you!

Great apartment, great location.

We loved this apartment! It was cozy, with all the essentials and lots of little homey extras. We were a 2 minute walk from the Pantheon and there were 4 or 5 restaurants outside our door, 2 of them recommended in my guide book.
