beautiful weekend to kick off summer
This was our second stay at this house, and it makes the 4 nights we stayed memorable and enjoyable. We spend most of our days on the well shaded patio, and laying in the hammock. The beach is fantastic, and high tide was the highest I have ever seen there, it seemed like it was right outside the door. This house is perfect for disconnecting from your hectic home routine, and relaxing.
The location could not have been better. The beach is spectacular, and we got to see dolphins numerous times The linens were wonderful and fresh. The kitchen was very well-equipped, we had everything we needed. We will definitely book again. The only thing that was not perfect Was just the wear and tear, but salt water does that to houses and I know every beach house down there has ants, but that we really should have been supplied with some sort of ant bait or traps. Put that on your list if you book. Highly recommend.
Love the private beach!
Great house! Big & luxurious. Enjoyed the hammock on the porch. Bedrooms were all big & comfy! Water was so beautiful & close. Kayaks for our use were really good. Love the classic Mexican fire pit - a cast iron tub dropped in the sand! I spent 70% of my time in chairs in front of it.
Overall a great place to stay. Host was quite responsive to my questions once we arrived.
We had a family vacation (four of us) at this lovely property from March 31 to April 5 and each of us enjoyed it immensely. We arrived at night so in the morning the view and location smacked us in the face. It is right on the sea with a very short walk to the water at high tide and still reasonable at low tide. I have hip, daughter has knee and husband has back problems and it was okay for all of us. We saw 8 other people on the beach the whole time. The house has all the conveniences, even including a selection of spices. Here's the activities we enjoyed while there: boogie boarding, yoga on the top deck, massages on the beach ,(in the sun with breeze blowing and ocean in background), cooking on the grill, getting tamales, tortillas and blankets from the vendor, coffee facing the ocean, hammock laying, reading, playing board games, a fire in the bathtub on the beach at night, dolphins and seals in front of the house, shell hunting, walking the beach, lunch in town (once), lunch at Mayan Palace, and shopping in town. And yet, this was the most peaceful, restful vacation we've ever had! Will definitely return. Great communication with Mark, the caretaker.
Wonderful beachfront home
Our family enjoyed our stay at this home! The location was amazing, right on the beach, with soft sand and small dunes just off the patio which kept the kids entertained when not in the water. The water in front of the house is very shallow and rock-free when the tide is out, perfect for the little ones. We also enjoyed taking the kayak out and pulling the kids around on the large inner tube. We had the beach all to ourselves! We stocked up on groceries the first day so we could cook all our meals in the well-stocked kitchen without having to run the 25 minutes into town. There is some visible wear on the house but the location and amenities were exactly what we were looking for.
Beautiful beach, lovely home, very peacful private location
We stayed in this home for 4 nights with a group of friends. While the house is a bit south of town 15-20 mins it was perfect for our group. The beds were comfortable with nice linens and having 4 bathrooms is ideal. I loved the large back patio, it is a very peaceful sitting and watching the sea, the gated neighborhood is exceptionally quiet. If you are looking for a big party home close to downtown Puerto Penasco this may not be your best option. If you are seeking a peacful, relaxing home that is in a quiet gated community this is certainly a good choice. We will return.
