Smart and well maintained cottage, good quality linnens, cooking facilities, nice comfy bed and just a lovely warmth throughout.
Wonderful Cottage in a great Village location
We had an axcellent stay at Badger's rest. The cottage had everything we needed and the kitchen was very well equiped. Wonderful walks on the doorstep and amenities in the village meant you didnt have to go far in the car if you didnt want to. The only negative was parking, there is no attached parking to the property but there is a public car park to the rear. Obviously spaces in here re not guarranteed and on a couple of occasions we had to find parking on the streets nearby, which if you have limited mobility may be an issue
Excellent . Thouroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return next year sometime.
Cottage lovely with more than you need. Lemon cake, scone and milk on arrival a nice touch. Tearooms lovely with their lovely dogs William and Ruby there to welcome you. Couldn't get enough of the fruit cake with cheese. Jan said if I let her know in advance she would make me one to take home if we went again. Would go back just for that. Lovely people.
Thank you for your lovely review and so glad you enjoyed your stay despite the weather. Hope to see you again and you can enjoy some more cake.

Everything we wanted
This was a very well appointed holiday cottage and ideally situated for our event in Pateley Bridge. Everything seems quite new and we were very comfortable. Just a few yards from high street but tucked away down a quiet alley. The car park behind gets full but we found space everyday and it is very convenient.
Just a few doors down, the Crown Inn did us a great meal although beware it finishes serving early. At the bottom of the high street is a well stocked Spar shop and another supermarket just over the river.
Lovely cottage. Cakes very welcome.
